You could be correct and I could be wrong. They stated on the phone that you couldn't swap until after 120 days, but they could have told me wrong. I don't take a phone reps responses as stone. Even though I asked specifically if I bought out a unlocked or sprint phone at full price before the 120 days.

Would make more sense to allow a swap due to breaking. Might be exceptions though at that point

PS thanks for those that answered a few questions. Boost phone activated perfectly. Daughter will be happy to get a new phone and I'm happy I spent less than $100 on it
You can change phones any time no need to wait for 120 days

I've just checked and boost mobile is having the 20% off again. So the moto g6 play can be had for about 80. Hopefully they won't close the loophole soon.

I ordered a e5 play and couldn't activate it on Sprint. The loophole may be closed, check for other data points in this thread.

It has been a nightmare trying to port out of Freedom Pop. FP had no account information so I had to reach out to them so they could provide it to me. Contacted Sprint to give them that information and it was entered wrong. Called the Sprint porting department and they said everything "looks good" on their end and would have their Supervisor contact FP. My number still has not been ported and service is supposedly active since I received a bill that I cannot view. I don't spend everyday trying to get this working, but it has been a few weeks. Going to try to contact them again and if there's no resolve then I will just end up cancelling...

Is the free 1 year deal eligible for the iPhone trade in offer they have now? Trade in an X for zero cost to upgrade to XS and it is unlocked?

Nope -- Unreal runs on Sprint

You need to port from a non-Sprint carrier

Do you have a purple ugrade banner in the app? Or check your account online. Pretty sure it would have to be a paid line and not a byod.

It should be fine. The old account stays online even after an account is closed to allow you to chat about account refunds etc.
Ok, thanks!

I would do a chat session and ask if you're eligible to be a new customer. You might have to ask for account services.

Occasionally, I'll have "1x" data, yet full bars. Switching 3G/LTE doesn't help. Of course, 1x is completely unusable even for email. This will go on for about 10 or 20 minutes.

Btw, happens with this near-free plan, as well as a full paid Sprint plan.

Are these occasional data "outages" normal?
