How much is this after 1 year?
We don't know if "this" will be an actual plan. It doesn't even include a hotspot or lte calling.

Does anyone know if you're allowed to change your ported-in phone number on this plan? When I try via the Web site, it's "unable" to do it.

Your post is very vague. We need more information.
In middle of getting second year free. T-Mobile transfer successful, so Sprint service stopped working.

Now trying to verify my phone eligibility at https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/bring-your-own-phone.html?phone=byod [sprint.com]

It's showing Phone is ineligible. Using exact same phone which I used for last 10 months on Sprint. Will try calling Sprint after 1 hr to see if they can still go ahead with new activation.

That's fast as hell. Was that all over the phone?
Yes. First I got sim from Sprint stores they give it for free. Came home and called sprint. Lady knew what I am taking about. She also stated my promotion will end November of 2019, so I am getting 14 months free

Guys any suggestions for an Unlocked Android Phone,to use this offer looking for 4 gig RAM and 64 gig memory.

Thinking of S8 unlocked,Appreciate any other suggestions.
Moto z2 force. Flagship specs. Phenomenal phone. Sprint version. Swappa or the eBay.
If you get a used one, be diligent about getting one that has had a screen protector from the start. These are P-OLED and the screen scratches easily if unprotected

not necessary

several options u have after 1 year

1. port back to what ever u were using before
2. port out and back to another free year (if available)
3. get what ever deal is there at the time

u dont have to pay $$$
remember there is no contract

u can cancel in 1month, 1 day, 1hour etc

Yes, you can call in and port in a different number any time you want, and keep the plan, as long as you port in over your already ported-in number. I have done it multiple times on my 5 BYOD lines.

As it turns out, you can't do it yourself online (at least if you're me, and on my account), but you can via the chat. So, I was able to change to a number OTHER than my ported number, and she said it will not change the plan or anything. Also, my original number I ported in, however the new number was just assigned by Sprint based on the area code I provided them, and my old number returns to their pool, I guess. Since she was so helpful, I also changed my device! My first pleasant experience with them!

That did NOT go so well. Purchased an iPhone 7 Plus on Swappa as an upgrade to my wife's iPhone 6. I had already signed up for the second free year of Sprint a few weeks ago. Switched the SIM card from the iPhone 6 to the iPhone 7 Plus and received the wonderful message, "sim failed" and "sim locked."

I then ran the IMEI for the iPhone 7 Plus through the Spring eligibility configurator and I received this message: "this device is not eligible for activation on the Sprint network." Oh happy days, haha. Either I purchased a phone that was not in reality a Sprint phone even though it was advertised as such, or the BYOD plan blocks activation of the purchased phone. I am leaning toward the former.

Will I lose my one year free service if I attempt to activate the phone in a Sprint store?

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Awaiting word from the seller on Swappa.

Same here, as you've stated. I believe my phone is eligible (per Sprint), but my phone number remains active on Sprint from my 1-year plan that I abandoned early this morning (now >10hrs ago) to port over to T-Mobile with the intention to port back to Sprint with a new SSN to start a new 1-year free BYOD plan. Haven't had service since then. Will call again tomorrow. Sigh.
