***update***
I just gave up and reset my entire phone, wiped everything and started fresh. It worked! So the moral of the story is, that if you used rsim before on a Sprint iPhone that you want to bring back to Sprint, do a fresh install of iOS. Resetting network setting does NOT work.
always a good idea to do a factory restore when activating a phone on new service.

less headache later

trying to understand wifi calling, so if I have this feature turned on, and connected to wifi, I can call Hong Kong for free?
If you can both use either Telegram or WhatsApp (using data) then that would be free.
Call quality is surprisingly good. Smilie

**** UPDATE ****
Yes, the Apple store at the World Trade Center does give free SIM cards.

Does anyone know if the Apple store at the World Trade Center gives free TMobile SIM cards? If they do, can I get 5 of them for each of the iPhones my family and I currently have with Sprint? What's the process?

Or even better use Signal. Free and open source.

I moved from Sprint to US mobile (Verizon). Now I need to wait 45 days before moving back to Sprint for a second free year. Can anyone confirm this is accurate?

In addition to signing up for Sprint again in 45 days and requesting a new SIM will I also need a new eligible phone that has a new IMEI?
It is accurate. The Sprint phone you used previously could likely be used again with the same Sprint sim.

I have to try it.
I only recommended the two I use for business and have experience with.
Skype is another business centric one but I rarely use it.

I like the fact that I can upgrade my phone each year without the hassle of selling it.
So you'd pay full price for the phone and sacrifice your trade in. I'm not seeing everything. Apple store is selling the Xs unlocked.

you can't get on the IUP with an unlocked phone.

Benefit of IUP vs buying outright - after 12 months I can return my iPhone to Apple and get the newer version. To me its a lot better than having to mess with the hassle of selling my used iPhone.

You could activate with Verizon at the Apple Store. They'll give you the SIM card there. Then all you'd need is a Sprint sim.

I don't think you can activate with another carrier or MVNO. I ordered the IUP with Sprint. You have to have an account with the carrier to get the IUP.

Has it happened to anyone that after the cooling period, they come back and end up getting kicked out for cheating the system?
