Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Anyone have any luck upgrading to iPhone XS and keeping the Unlimited BYOD plan? Apple changed my plan to something else that is $50 or $60 per line... On the phone with a CS rep now trying to revert back (I had free service until end of January 2019).

Why did you even give your sprint account information to Apple? You should have just bought an unlocked one full price sim free.

iPhone Upgrade Program. From Sprint's point of view it's a paid off BYOD.

Set up a plan with my Google Voice # today, just waiting on the porting to finish to Sprint. They said it would take up to 4 days. Is that a typical timeframe?
Took me 3 days. And call sprint costumer service every day.

I've done it before. We're talking about a number that I want to be my main contact number for many years to come. $20 is worth it to know my number will be safe until Google goes under (I'll be gone long before then I'm sure).
Google charge $3 dollars to port out

Did you do Iphone Upgrade program in Apple store or online?

I read somewhere, one was handed SEALED Iphone in store, and he swapped device through chat with no plan change.

Thank you.

Did you read your plan TOS?
Any upgrades prior to the 4 months or in a retail location will require a plan change to the Unlimited data, talk and text plan which starts at $60 per month.

Prior to what "4 months"? I've been on Sprint for almost a year. Looks like CS is saying no way to go back to free plan. Cancelling, T-Mobile, here I come!

Do you guys turn roaming off because the roaming data limit is only 100mb/mth?
I don't want a bill shock. Confused

Two things you have to do:
1. If you plan to use your current number on Project Fi, you need to port out of Project Fi to another carrier or MVNO, because Project Fi is considered a Sprint MVNO and you cannot port from a Sprint MVNO to this Sprint offer. More info in Wiki at the top.

2. In order for any Project Fi phone to become eligible for this offer, it has to be off of Project Fi and its ownership flag has to be switch back for postpaid Sprint. So once this phone is off Project Fi, you can chat or call Project Fi to flip the ownership flag. Again, more details in Wiki.

I bought a used Nexus 5x and it shows the same ineligible message initially; the previous owner was not sure whether it was ever used on Project Fi. I made an educated guess and chat with Project Fi even though I was not a customer and they changed the ownership flag for me and the phone became eligible. Anyone can chat with Project Fi customer support if you sign into your Google account (which is free to create).
