Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

When is the new extension end date for this deal?

My free year ended in August, I was using a Moto E4.
I ported my number out of Sprint to MINT MOBILE yesterday.
Do I also need to formally terminate the Sprint account (so as both to not get billed and start the 45 day clock running to port back in after 45 days) or do anything else to prepare things so I can port back and get the deal again after 45 days?

After the 45 day wait period is up I can port back into Sprint with the same Moto E4 and the same Sprint sim card I used on my first free year? Or do I need to swap devices?

I have to say year of paying $4.65/mth with the free data and hot spot was a smoking deal!
If your porting is successful, then you are good to wait for 45 day period and grab this offer. Account doesn't need to be closed yourself, but they will close as soon as all the lines from that account is ported out.

When you port back, you can use the same phone, same old sprint SIM and same SSN.

The 3-1 kit does not include the 516TQ. Not sure when they will have a byod kit with 516TQ. Also many people are having problems activating on Sprint. Hopefully they are working to get straightened out. Check reddit
SIM cards. The iPhone Xs/max will use SIMOLW516TQ, SIMGLW416TQ, or SIMOLW416TQ.
The 516TQ is considered the byod sim(tricut) but all 3 above should work.
Since these sim card part numbers are new(have not been used in other sprint phones) availability may be limited.
Also the Xs has embedded sim(e-sim) but is not supported yet.

I bought yesterday "Bring Your Own Phone 4-in-1 Sim Kit" at Sprint store for $2.99 + tax. Package contains SIMOLW506TQ, SIMOLW416Q, SIMOLW506C, and SIMOLW516TQ. UPC 760492044707.

Correct sprint store charges only $2.99, but if you go to Sprint franchise they will charge $9.99. But the same set. Better to go to Sprint store.

But no more hot spot included. My free year ended on July. Ported number to Metropcs, got 2 free Iphone SE ($103 with 1 month of service). Kept one line for a secontd month of service. Ported number back to Sprint after 60 days getting the same deal (less hot spot) till 11/30/2019 ($3.63/month). Used the same phone and sim I had before with them.

u doing well.
once ported out , it wouldn't hurt u to contact s and confirm the account is full closed
make note of account number and the exact day u ported out
keep this information secure

i would call S on day 30 and inquire about coming back early.
say ur current carrier is not good signal and u want back in to sprint.
they may say no, u must wait for 45 days.
or they may let u back in.
if they do, make note of account number and compare with first account number

as few have been successful with this approach

good luck.
report back findings

Hi guys,

I currently have a spare iPhone SE in hand, so I was wondering what would be my best option to sign up for the free 1-year? Would it just be to sign up for Google Voice and port that number out? Also, would I need to get a SIM card for this deal (i.e. idk if Google Voice even gives one)? The iPhone is technically from Straight Talk, but I used an RSIM12 to unlock it for use on T-Mobile (idk if its eligible)

Thanks in advance

(Sorry, the Wiki is so long I don't even know what I should be looking for)
oh my

google voice giving sim cards

oh my

i would suggest u read wiki very carefully,
then do it twice.

i get it it may not be easy, but at same time is not rocket science

most/many people should be able to follow wiki

Regarding hotspot: I can still turn hotspot on, even though hotspot is not included in the plan. What happens if I turn it on and use it? Any one has tried that? Thanks.

You must have misinterpreted my reply. Only sim SIMOLW516TQ, SIMGLW416TQ, or SIMOLW416TQ will work. Not any 3 from 3-1 sim kit.
There is a 4-1 sim kit available at Sprint that includes 516TQ(read last 2 pages of thread).
Not sure what your doing, trying to get free plan? swapping iPhone xs max to line?

I plan to port my sprint number to digit sim, then back to sprint under a different account. Can anyone share the experience regarding how long I shall wait?

Thanks
