Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I'm currently a BYOD free year customer. Just looking to do a simple device swap.

Used for 5-6 months. There is no way you can use internet while on call. Big bummer for me!!
Get a better phone to support VoLTE on Sprint.
I always call and surfing simultaneously on my moto z2

But I faced similar situation in iphone7 as well being with Verizon. I was on the call through my Bluetooth headphone and I noticed no data signal in phone! Or was that momentarily?

Thanks. If anyone here purchased a full priced Sprint iPhone Xs or Max from the Apple store/online, did it come with a SIM in the box? Just checking.

if you have a phone with Calling Plus and it's active in your area you can. I just tested it with my Moto Z2 Force to be sure.

Reps to those who have experience and can answer this. I read on here you can buy boost moto e4 and hook up to this plan? Is that true for anyone recently? Also, can I port from a Verizon prepaid number? I did a thread search and it was hundreds of posts of unrelated questions. thanks
I don't think anyone ever posted they used a Boost moto e4 on this plan. Some people used the unlocked version of the moto e4 which is not the same as the Boost version.

Some people did use the Boost moto g6 play but that's considered a big anomaly and I don't know if it's still possible.

I was able to to help a friend sign up two boost moto e4s. They were purchased from Boost online not local store. Checked through the BYOD checker and were accepted. However, when I tried a Boost moto e4 purchased through Walmart, that phone was reject by the BYOD checker. Not sure why. From other posts, it seems this is very YMMV.

LOL, everyone knows why ..
Sprint MVNO's phone subjects to FED......If you don't know what it is, Google it....it is not YMMV thing...

Probably because Walmart scanned at the register and "activated" it, whereas Boost online shipping dept did not.

My XS from Apple came with the sim, even though when I called last week they said it wouldn't.

Calling Plus enables voice and data simultaneously. It's only available on certain Android phones however.
Soon Sprint will have voLTE which will work on iPhones (I think). Not yet

Am I reading correctly that Sprint can't do voice and data at the same time? If so, does that mean I can't, say, call an Uber passenger while I'm using the app?
If you have an iPhone, this is correct. If you have a Galaxy S8, this is not correct. It can do both voice and data at the same time. iPhone can't.

att and tmobile are gsm carriers and data and voice at the same time are features of gsm.

Sprint and Verizon are cdma carriers and offered cell phone service before anyone cared about data and voice at the same time.
