Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Has something changed with activation if you use the online portal? Was hooking my cousin up with service and didn't want to waste time hunting down the SIM, so just ordered online for $13.

Activated online and the email confirmation days "$30 activation fee"

But I never faced this when I got service. Is this normal or has something changed? The site still says free activation.

Sorry if answered already.
"Your $30 activation fee is waived as part of this promotion. The fee will appear on your first bill and a credit will appear within 2 bills."

The no device mods within the first four months is not correct. I've been on this plan for less than two and earlier this week swapped out a phone on one of my lines for a new Boost Motorola G6 Play.
swapped a phone the other day after an hour of porting in a new line.

If anyone could help i'd really appreciate it, here's my situation:

I was dumb enough to port in a freedompop number, it's not going through and i have no service. I want to switch over to GV number now, now my question is: How do i do that? Who do i contact (which department)? Is it possible since my line already says the freedompop number? What do i say so i don't loose my 1 year promo?

So my wife and I had Sprint BYOD for about a year until about a week ago under my name and SSN. We ported our numbers to T-Mobile. Can my wife sign up for this plan using her SSN without having to wait 45 days considering that the same telephone number will be ported back to Sprint?

3 minutes. Are you currently with sprint?
I am with T-Mobile and transferring to take advantage of this plan.

I tried to apply online but the online portal tell me to call 866 782 8777 and since I am calling, I give them my Xs Max's IMEI and they automatically read the SIM number. Took 50 minutes because T-Mobile took their time approving the transfer.

I did read the wiki:

"Port out of sprint to a digital Tmobile sim from eBay for $5
Then port back into sprint using a different SS number (a spouse, friend, relative, etc)."

But it's not clear if the telephone number associated with the new SSN will be allowed to take advantage of this offer as that number was already on the Sprint number but with a different SSN.

Yes. It only matters that the number is now coming from T-Mobile. You can use the same Sprint sims you used before, as well.

As long as those Sprint sims are currently not active (which is a safe assumption because you have ported your service out to T-Mobile), then I am 100% sure. Just make sure that each Sprint sim goes back into the phone it was in before. This is important unless all of your phones are the exact same model.

- The first year is free except govt. related fees/taxes, provided autopay ($5 credit) is enabled, yes?

- What happens after the first year? I read it changes to $60/month but I really don't want to pay $60/month as I travel most of the time and I'm not sure if I'd be able to do the T-Mobile $5 e-sim as suggested in the Wiki. Can I just stop using the service or call to cancel and not be charged?

- Will my unlocked iPhone be locked to Sprint in anyway for this first year?
