Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Any good deals on an iPhone 7+ 128gb or iPhone 8+ 64gb (whichever one is the better value) going on or coming soon? My 120 day upgrade restriction is ending soon and I want to find a good deal on a plus sized iPhone to put on to this plan, maybe though Sprint. Perhaps wait till black Friday? Planning to purchase the phone in full!

order them now from amazon

have a few handy for next time
My free service ends tomorrow. What is the quickest way to cancel or port out? I don't care about the phone number. I have lines with Tello but from what I read porting is slow with them. Thanks

It took me about 5 minutes to port out from Sprint to Tello. However it might be slower on weekends.

You could also call Sprint and cancel but if you have missed their deadline it may not take effect for a month. You should call and ask. Ask for Cancellations (which is actually Account Services) and they will tell you exactly.

When you ported from Sprint to Tello, did you have to call them or did you just click on "Change Phone" on Tello's website? At this point I'm panicking, lol. I may try the port and then call Sprint too. Thanks!

edit: just did the "change phone" thing on Tello, it asked for my Sprint account info and now my port in is in progress.

Yes I think that's all I did.
For me it took only a few minutes to port.
But weekends might be different.
I agree call Sprint too mainly to ask about Billing.

I assume you do know that you can get another free year on Sprint by setting up a new account either
(1) using the same SSN again, but only 45 days or more after getting off Sprint completely
or
(2) having a family member open an account under their SSN which can be right away

If you want to use the same phone then, though, you will probably have to get the MVNO flag flipped after it has been on Tello. Search LiterallyUnlimited in this thread for details.

For full details please see the Wiki.

If anyone could help i'd really appreciate it, here's my situation:

I was dumb enough to port in a freedompop number, it's not going through and i have no service. I want to switch over to GV number now, now my question is: How do i do that? Who do i contact (which department)? Is it possible since my line already says the freedompop number? What do i say so i don't loose my 1 year promo?
I assume this is your first time on this promo. Did you call telesales? What phone are you using? Was that phone on FP? You said you have no service. What service has been lost?
Did you check your FP account? Does it show active or closed? It should be active until the port completes. Did you open a sprint online account? You can check port status there.
Maybe you just need to activate your phone. If so, this site could help. https://help.ting.com/hc/en-us/se...mit=Search

If you called telesales originally then a call back to them might be in order, but basically we lack the info here to make a good suggestion.

Yes it's my first time i do the promo. I called the telesales through the phone and got it started that way. I am using a Note9, the phone WAS NOT on Freedompop. I don't have any service, whenever i try to connect using the Note9 it says "The device is not registered with an account" My FP account is still open, so nothing there. I don't have a Sprint account because i can't make it with my phone number and apparently i was told they can't give me my Account # for sprint to make one? I did check the porting website and it says :

Please call (888) 211-4727 and when prompted to enter your 10 digit telephone number, enter the number that is moving to Sprint.

Its said since i first started, i called and they told me to wait 4 hours, then i got another email after 4 hours, so i'm going to call right now. I tried the link and it still says "device has not been registered to an account for network service." I'm going to call them Rn and see what happens.

Telesales should be able to help. Even if they have to do a second line on the account with the new number. And then cancel the port with FP on the first line, which can also be done online. Orders and transfers>check transfer status. (of course after you get online.) FP will most likely be no help on weekends if they insist on waiting.

Comintel, any suggestions here?

Which version of the MEID did you give them? The HEX version or the DEC version? I swapped to a Boost G6 Play a few days ago which I bought online directly from Boost. Gave them the DEC version and everything went smoothly. Also, I used the telesales phone number.
It was the DEC. It is from a phone that just arrived in the mail.

It does appear that all phones currently shipping from Boost.com are failing. BB and walmart still have a chance but i assume once old stock is depleted that those will fail also.

I did read the wiki:

"Port out of sprint to a digital Tmobile sim from eBay for $5
Then port back into sprint using a different SS number (a spouse, friend, relative, etc)."

But it's not clear if the telephone number associated with the new SSN will be allowed to take advantage of this offer as that number was already on the Sprint number but with a different SSN.
The # being retained is the entire reason you are porting out to tm and porting back

If u dont care about #, then you can simply have ur wife sign up with GV number

Last week I setup account for this service and ported 2 ATT number using my existing unlocked iPhone 6s.

1. Is it possible to switch one of these lines to new iPhone XS, if i buy it directly from apple unlocked? If yes, what is the process and has anyone done it?

2. If number #1 works, can I use my now available iPhone 6s after above switch, to port new number to sprint? Will there be any issue using same phone device as it was active on sprint network?

1. Yes. You can swap. Can be started through your online account. getting the correct SIM card is your only problem.Do a thread search.
2. Should be no problem
