Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thanks for responding .. I understand the wiki has list of unlocked phones but I'm looking to get a cheap phone to use.. any pointers?
I would check swappa or eBay. Look for used Sprint branded flagship phones like the LG g series or Samsung s series. Sprint phones should get on without any problem unless they were used on a Sprint mvno. Request the imei before purchase so you can enter it in the checker or by calling the telesales number in the wiki.

Had the plan for a year but since I only have 3G all the time and tethering is not supported this time around, it will be meaningless for me to port out port in again, any recommendation on carrier plan with tethering at a reasonable price? Thx

So a1661, "the locked AT&T phone at BestBuy" ?
A bit odd that you almost always see the 3G icon at top.

Its very simple to tether on a non tethering plan. Difficult part is you need to jailbreak your iphone or root your android phone.

No my iphone was unlocked after I paid it off, and data speed for me has always been so so, it can drop suddenly in the middle of web surfing and will take about more than 5 minutes to come back, I don't think I will pay full price for this kind of data speed

You can use PDANet+ to tether on any Android phone without rooting. It does not have a full Wifi hotspot though. For that you need WifiTetherRouter which does require root.

Both apps are masked/hidden on GooglePlay while on Sprint so access them first on a PC.

There are also some hacks which I have found to be unreliable.

Update: I just ported my google voice to sprint, total spent 2.30 hours. Now my phone is activated and have LTE data . You don't have to wait 2-3 days to port a landline to sprint.

Anyway to keep mobile hotspot feature?
While signing uo I was offered to add it for like $15/month if I remember. And I think it was more than 10GB, but I am not sure. Call in and ask if you have a spare 2-3 hours of your life. Just make sure they don't mess up THE plan Smilie

Do I woke up thinking I would be ported out to tmo. Getting a message from S saying my account could not be validated and to call CS.
I did get this message yesterday when I tried to call out using my phone and both times went on the S site put in my IMEI and it shows my phone and the 60 $ plan.
I AM and have followed the post about "click here for easy way ...". Every step.
Yes tmo said it would take 24 hours that was 26.5 ago.
Is it that it just hasn't ported yet?
I don't know what is wrong?!
Sure hasn't been as simple as the posts make it seem it has been or should be.
Did you try dialing ##clear# ok-ok-ok? I forgot to do it and also had this dumb problem for 2 days Please
