Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

How did you calculate these amounts? Did someone already got similar offer and ended up paying like this? I was told 10GB hotspot is included in the plan, Is this a trick played by Sprint to pay more? Also I was told would be paying on taxes and surcharges.
Phone line(moto G6) is $0+surcharges+taxes. No hotpspot
Tablet line(Gpad) is $25+surcharges+tax, tablet charge$6.25 -$6.25 credit. 10Gb hot spot.
Gpad is $150 with 24 month bill credit of $6.25 per month. If cancel at 12 months you lose remaining bill credits of $75.
Intentional deception of not revealing $25 tablet plan.
I guess it is possible but doubtful you will get a $0 tablet plan.

looks like it first representative never told this $25 charge - she said I could use 10GB hotspot and 6.25 credit shall be applied for GPAD, I called in again to confirm other guy says this now. I am asking them to cancel it right away. Hopefully it works out.

Have 20 lines for the family (former SERO) spread out on 4 accounts due to Sprint working so well for us here in Florida (occasionally roaming free on Verizon).
Folks have been inquiring about reliable phones in the $100 range for this free BYOD promo.
Here is a list of our budget daily drivers that work great for us:
1) Nexus 5X (model LG H790 only)
beware of H791 & H798 that do not have Sprint bands
2) Moto E4 Plus (model XT 1775)
3) Nexus 6 (model XT1103 only)
beware of XT1100 that do not have Sprint bands
4) Nexus 5 (model LG-D820 only)
beware of D821 that do not have Sprint bands
5) iPhone 6 (CDMA/Verizon model A1549 only)
beware of other variants that may not have all Sprint bands.
6) Moto X pure edition (model XT1575)
7) Moto G4 (model XT1625)
We always get free T-MO SIMs from an Apple Store when SS#'s are rotated for newly created 2nd year accounts, then physically insert the SIM into a spare phone to confirm the Pay-Go port-in was successful with never any funds loaded to the T-MO account.
Many thanks to the dedicated contributors of this thread-
y'all are indeed appreciated!
Best family meeting we ever had last year when we agreed to do this deal, saving over $11 grand thus far.

The tello says "Your phone is currently active with another provider.".
At the very beginning, the agent put in a totally strange number as my IMEI (as shown in the swap page), but when he connected me to the tech support, the tech support said from his side, the IMEI is the correct one as I have, although the swap page showing the bogus one.

Quote from edog11 :
They may have entered Imei incorrectly(or done provisioning wrong). You can check imei in my sprint more/ activate/swap device. If you don't have access to my sprint. Check imei on tello byod if passes phone is not active on Sprint.

Yes, this is what I have been tried multiple times with the agent chat. It behaves the same as if I restarted the phone, the "Sprint (LTE)" will show up for a few seconds, then switch back to "No Service". I tried both 436C (Apple store) and 506C (3in1 kit).
If the sim contact pin has issues, I think I should also see the T-Mobile SIM behaves the same, but the T-Mobile SIM working fine, no issue at all.ConfusedConfusedConfused
Does your imei pass here: https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/br...print.html

While having your sprint sim in, have you tried doing a carrier settings update?
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201270

Also make sure there's no apn profile. Check if there any and remove it from Settings > General > If there's a Profile it would be between VPN and Reset. Click Delete Profile.

A final alternative I've also read sometimes that doing a full reset of the iPhone can solve this issue.

Just finished porting, I got SIM card from sprint store - they didnt charge me because it was not a KIT stand alone SIM. Also I got 10 GB hot spot offer, they gave me LG GPAD with 24 installments credits shall be applied. Not sure if I keep this GPAD but porting was real quick like done in minutes. now I am using sprint service. Thank you all who contributed to the wiki and responded to me. I bought a unlocked moto g6 from walmart for 200 bucks. wish you all good luck.
If you got hotspot you are on the paid plan. It is impossible to have it on this plan. The only way the rep can add it is to put you on a paid plan.
Check DashBoard /Manage Plan / See Details to see what plan you are on.

The Tablet would force you to move to the paid plan in a year to keep that pricing and so is a bad deal. You can cancel the tablet now though under the 15-day satisfaction guarantee with no charge if it is unopened. Just call for an RMA. Or maybe you can still catch it before it ships.

If fails tello then sprint using correct Imei. On swap page is probably Dec version.
Check to make sure you don't have an APN profile as stated above.
Only other thing I have seen in this thread is a wrong Apple activation policy.

Hi guys, just finished reading the wiki and I wanted to run this by you guys.
I am on Mintsim and have the account number and pin. I have the correct sim, it's iccid and my phone's imei and phone number. Here is my plan:

1. Call 866-782-8777
2. Ask for the bring your own device FREE 1 year plan and be sure the rep verifies it before ending the call.
3. Try to avoid the Total Equipment Protection package but let them add it if they insist. Remove it from the online account later.
4. Get on sprint E-bill and autopay.

Is that still the best way to have it go as smoothly as possible? Did I miss anything from the wiki or the thread
what is the least expensive plan on mint sim if you want to port out of mint sim right away? do they give you your account number and pin during the sign up process? if not how long will you need to wait?

Been a long time lurker of this thread and i'm sure millions of questions have been asked since it's almost 2,000 pages long. I just want to ask a few questions from maybe someone that was in a similar position.

I currently have T-Mobile 4 Lines, and this deal seems pretty damn great. I'm paying $140 currently.

- If I were to switch all 4 lines, what if the phones do not qualify? What happens then?
- Can I purchase/lease a new phone?
before you switch you have to check if all your 4 phones qualify on sprint's eligibility checker page. if they are T Mobile phones most likely they will not but do check. this is a BYOD deal so you have to bring your own device. easiest phones that i have used are the Google Pixels and the unlocked Motorola phones from amazon or Moto's website. or buy new/used paid off and clean Sprint phones from swappa or ebay.

Just curious why you stayed for 17 years if the service was bad, or did it decline over time? We actually switched to Sprint from Metro (T-Mobile) and have found the service is slightly better than Metro where we use it.

Right now it still shows that I am unltmd Bring your phone plan:
Unlimited - Bring Your Phone
Unlimited Talk, Text and Data.
$5/line/mo up to 5 lines. ($60/line value free with AutoPay until 11/30/19)
Requires $5 per line/per month AutoPay discount.
Savings until 11/30/19; then $60/mo. for line 1, $40/mo. for line 2 and $20/mo./line for lines 3-5 with AutoPay.

May be once device is activated it will show under plan that hot spot is available?

where else can I look for this?
