Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Right now it still shows that I am unltmd Bring your phone plan:
Unlimited - Bring Your Phone
Unlimited Talk, Text and Data.
$5/line/mo up to 5 lines. ($60/line value free with AutoPay until 11/30/19)
Requires $5 per line/per month AutoPay discount.
Savings until 11/30/19; then $60/mo. for line 1, $40/mo. for line 2 and $20/mo./line for lines 3-5 with AutoPay.

May be once device is activated it will show under plan that hot spot is available?

where else can I look for this?
At least everything is fine then apart from the Hotspot issue.

As to hotspot, it is not available any more on this plan. The reps just get confused as they have to deal with a whole bunch of different plans, some of which do have it.

Here is what it looks like on my own older account for previous subscribers who DO have hotspot from when it was included:

Unlimited - Bring Your Phone
Unlimited Talk, Text and Data.
$5/line/mo up to 5 lines. ($60/line value free with AutoPay until 04/30/19)
10GB Mobile Hotspot.
International Text from US.
Requires $5 per line/per month AutoPay discount.
Savings until 04/30/19 ; then $60/mo. for line 1, $40/mo. for line 2 and $30/mo./line for lines 3-5 with AutoPay.

Just go this email from Sprint:

Your Unlimited promo is ending soon.
You're currently signed up for our One Year Free service promotion, which will end on 10/31/18.

Great news! Your new monthly service plan will be effective 11/1/18 and you will continue to enjoy all the same plan features at pricing below our normal rates. Your new monthly service plan pricing is shown below:

Line 1: $25
Line 2: $25
Line 3: $25
Line 4: $25
Line 5: $25

Price per line reflects a $5/mo per line AutoPay discount. Other monthly charges apply.**

We appreciate having you as a Sprint customer and are always looking for ways to deliver the most savings to you.
For any questions, call us at 888-211-4727.

I had three lines on my free plan. I have already ported one line away to start new free plan (husband's ss#).I had responded to questionnaire about why I left. I answered I didn't want to pay more than $30 a month and I wanted to have tethering.
Sprint has worked great for me in my area. Seriously considering the offer, especially since it doesn't seem to be a promo plan.
Update: Just wanted to follow up on the offer I received from retentions. I checked my dashboard this mornig to see what plan I ended up with.

Unlimited - Bring Your Phone - Unlimited Talk, Text and Data. $30/line/mo up to 5 lines. 50GB Mobile Hotspot. International Text from US. Eligible for $5 per line/per month AutoPay discount.
It looks like a version of the Unlimited Plus they are currently offering, except it does not look like I have Tidal/Hulu. I am not interested in those services so it's ok. On the other hand, I do not have to have 5 lines for the deal and I do get the 50GB Mobile hotspot, which is what I really wanted.

So far so good. I plan on keeping our two main phones on this account, while having to secondary phones on my husband's free year account he opened 9/2018.

I've had my plan for a while and it says exactly the same thing as yours, including the 10gb hotspot and 4/30/19 date.

question 1. When I look under services I thought it used to list the 10 gb hotspot as a service. It doesn't when I looked today. Maybe it never did, do you know ?

question 2. Assuming we still have the 10gb because we signed up when it included it, do you think we'll get bumped up to 50gb ?

I brought one of my 4 Verizon accounts over to sprint on this deal, does anyone know if when I bring the other 3 lines over, do I physically have to have the phones in my possession? I have all the pertinent information about phones, Sims etc. Wife works opposite shifts from me. So it's difficult to coordinate. I attempted to scroll through this incredibly long thread and wiki for answer, so sorry if it's been addressed. Thanks in advance for any information!

what is the least expensive plan on mint sim if you want to port out of mint sim right away? do they give you your account number and pin during the sign up process? if not how long will you need to wait?
The least expensive plan is a 3 month trial for $45 for 2gb high speed/month with unlimited 2g speed after. There may be a cheaper single month plan but I didn't look into that. There is a 7 day money back guarantee that is no questions asked but I don't know if porting out has any effect on that. I don't know the answers to your other questions, sorry.

Not necessary to have phone in hand for activation.
When port-in goes thru, she may have to reset network settings/PRL assuming the new correct Sprint SIM card is installed.

Have 20 lines for the family (former SERO) spread out on 4 accounts due to Sprint working so well for us here in Florida (occasionally roaming free on Verizon).
Folks have been inquiring about reliable phones in the $100 range for this free BYOD promo.
Here is a list of our budget daily drivers that work great for us:
1) Nexus 5X (model LG H790 only)
beware of H791 & H798 that do not have Sprint bands
2) Moto E4 Plus (model XT 1775)
3) Nexus 6 (model XT1103 only)
beware of XT1100 that do not have Sprint bands
4) Nexus 5 (model LG-D820 only)
beware of D821 that do not have Sprint bands
5) iPhone 6 (CDMA/Verizon model A1549 only)
beware of other variants that may not have all Sprint bands.
6) Moto X pure edition (model XT1575)
7) Moto G4 (model XT1625)
We always get free T-MO SIMs from an Apple Store when SS#'s are rotated for newly created 2nd year accounts, then physically insert the SIM into a spare phone to confirm the Pay-Go port-in was successful with never any funds loaded to the T-MO account.
Many thanks to the dedicated contributors of this thread-
y'all are indeed appreciated!
Best family meeting we ever had last year when we agreed to do this deal, saving over $11 grand thus far.
Excellent post and info on specific model phones

I have -
2 lines (iPhone SE) on Virgin Mobile(Sprint MVNO), both are unlocked.
1 line (Galaxy J3) on Republic Wireless.

Is there a reasonable way for me to take advantage of this?

Sorry for asking a dum question.

Sprint has Lte Advanced now. Is that included for this plan, and is that a possibility on the iPhone 7?

All three are Sprint MVNO's, so you cannot directly transfer.

You can port them to a service like Google Voice, then port them back out. It is not a fast setup though, there is a waiting period after porting, then it takes at least a day to port a number from GV to Sprint (GV is a landline and they either have to force the port or it is just slow).

Even if the phones are unlocked, they may or may not work. Although you can do the IMEI checker to see.

If you do not care about keeping the phone numbers, then get 3 new GV numbers, then port them in... which you can do immediately and give it a day, then call to get them to force the port. Make sure your phones will work first though.
