Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

No all of that is right.

I do not know whether or not you will have to wait until 45 days after the account went to zero balance. You might, but I think there is a good chance they will waive it. The only way to find out is to try and see.
I wasn't including the $3 balance (a late fee) as part of the wait period.
I'm starting the 45 days from the date the number was ported out of Sprint and the account closed. I have to assume the recent $3 debit/payment will not raise any red flags.

???

I realize you were not including it but they might.not agree with you.

Normally an account is not considered closed until all lines are ported out AND all fees are paid, including late fees.

Just because you wanted it closed as of the earlier date does not mean that they will consider it was closed then.

The payment itself should not raise any red flags but the fact that it was not paid earlier could.

I m just telling you what could happen in the worst case so you can be prepared if it happens.

But they have discretion to waive part of the period anyway and my guess is that they will do so for such a small amount. You can see what happens and if they do say the account has not yet closed just ask them to recompute it from the port-out date and they probably/hopefully will.

Wow, that looks nice.
Is this a one year commitment or you can cancel and port back to TMO anytime? (in case there's a good promotion next year).
Will this work on Iphone 6s and 6s plus? (both unlocked TMO version)
No commitment nor contract.
With unlocked TMo 6S models you would be limited to 4G on sprint. The sprint, Verizon and factory unlocked models would be fully compatible.

The iphone 6s will be fine on Sprint. There are 2 US models for the 6s. A1633(initially sold by Att and sim free model). A1688(initially sold by Verizon, Sprint,T-Mobile). They are identical in terms of bands supported except A1633 has additional band 30(used by Att). Same for 6s + models are A1634 and A1687.
Iphone X has 2 US models A1865 and A1901. They are identical in bands except A1901 does not support CDMA bands so is not approved by Sprint.
Iphone Xr has only 1 US model , works on all carriers.
Since iPhones do not have carrier branding you need to check model number(settings/general/about tap model)

The unlocked TMo 6S models should be fine to use for the most part. Here's a run down for 6S models and their carrier compatibility.
https://www.whistleout.com/CellPh...er-carrier

The same goes for the X and XR TMo models as well. it's best to check the imei for each phone here: https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/br...print.html

I completely disagree with the whistleout article. Only difference between A1633 and A1688 is that LTE band 30 is included on A1633. The only thing I may be wrong about would be which model was carried at T-Mobile stores.
For Sprint both models have Cdma and lte band 25,26,41 so there is no difference for use on Sprint.
From Apple specs you can see identical except for band 30.
Model A1633*
LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30)

CDMA EV-DO Rev. A (800, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100 MHz)
GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
Model A1688*

Yes but all USA S9 are supported now anyway since this week. The branded versions ( any of them) will convert to Sprint branding when you insert a Sprint sim, and so may be better on Sprint now than the unbranded version. Check IMEI just in case.

You should be seeing the activation fee refunded as a credit in a couple of billing cycles.
How many lines do you have? My surcharges and taxes come out to $4.77 for just one line.

I'm not that well versed in the technical aspects but with years of reading about the differences between the iPhone carrier models. I have heard that bands are just one aspect of the 6S differences.
In old ringplus (< sorry to bring that nightmare up) SD threads, there was countless discussions of dropped call problems on gsm 6S phones vs the cdma phone's which had less issues with sprint. I never experienced the differences it myself because I only had a Verizon 6S. If I remember correctly data wasn't the issue but dropped calls and call issues due to something about sprint's voice technology rely on 3g for voice. Also I think something about the slight 6S modem differences? Confused
But whiteout's articles do match up with the issues that I've read about user experiences with 6s phones on Sprint. Just for a smoother everyday experience, I would recommend the Sprint, Verizon or sim free 6S models for use on Sprint.

Yikes, were they questions about your past, like places you lived or maybe loans or mortgages you may have had? I've heard if any of the answers are mistaken it can trigger the identity part of the verification to fail. Did they ask you to visit a store to complete the application?
