You have to port in again.

One phone that has all Sprint features (unlike crippled Moto generics):
https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/ce...SP200SLVKT
$96

Should be able to order it from the number ending in 8777 at the same time as ordering the port in to try to avoid activation fee.
Thanks

I cannot find my zip code, but I found a few neighbor towns' zip codes. However, the taxes in these neighbor towns are quite different, especially 08901 zip code, which is too high.
Why the tax is so much different, even these zip codes are in the same county?

Zip...| Tax | Avg Speed | Recommend or Not | No. of Lines
08540 $4.00 / ? Yes 1 line
08820 $3.46 / 7 Mbps Yes 1 line
08901 $17.30 / 5 Mbps Down / 2Mbps Up - Recommended - 5 lines (if you have multiple lines, the 2nd monthly bill has the correct amount)
The third one is for 5 lines.

Why wouldn't the Pixel 3 work with this deal? Sprint simply hasn't approved it yet?

It is approved.
==============================
Google Nexus/Pixel Approved:
Google Nexus 5
Google Nexus 5X
Google Nexus 6
Nexus 6P
Pixel
Pixel 2
Pixel 2 XL
Pixel 3
Pixel 3 XL
Pixel XL
https://community.sprint.com/t5/P...-p/1020211
============================

Of course, it is a Verizon-first phone so it is not going to support the full Sprint feature set to the extent a Samsung S8 or S9 does. I do not know about this model but earlier Pixels have not supported Wifi Calling, Visual Voicemail etc. I worry about VoLTE.

If you are having problems activating one:

Make sure it is not active on a Sprint mvno including Fi.
Check that the phone number is a non-Sprint number.
Otherwise, you have to call Fi to get them to set the database entry for your IMEI to be Sprint Postpaid rather than the default Sprint Fi (mvno flag PLBL/SPCS).

Also try in it Tello checker to see if something else is wrong .

I see people are saying you can pay off the Verizon DPP and move the phone (to Sprint for example) in just one month and keep the discount? Probably this would apply to S9 also?

This would appear to possibly be the outstanding deal of the year in this case!

Not sure about the Samsung's but the Pixel 3 is $400 off. Your 24 month payment is $16 and change. It's not bill credits. Need to pay off asap so hopefully Verizon reverses all the charges. Time to sell my Pixel XL 128 GB.

You can use the phone on Sprint as soon as you pay off the DPP. S9 is $300 off. The discount is offered by Best Buy as down payment on the DPP, so Verizon can't claw it back.

Hi. It's been a while since I've posted. I'm currently on this plan using a Nexus 6P. My "savings through" date is just around the corner. One of my family members has a Sprint branded S7E which he used w/ Sprint but has upgraded (it's paid off and not in use). He gave me the phone. I asked Sprint if I can have it carrier unlocked and they said "yes". I'm planning to port out and port back in. I'm not sure if the S7E is then regarded as Sprint variant or special edition (which I understand is "unlocked")? I know that it shouldn't really make a difference since the wiki states that any Sprint phone is eligible (if not in use or owed). I'm just a bit curious.
u can chexk now

enter imie an a friends verizon or att or tmobile number in eligibiliyt checker

I'd like to get some feedback before doing this so if anyone in this thread knows there stuff that would be great.

Today my friend is goin to buy the Galaxy S9+ on from Sprint. I'll be paying for the whole thing. I'm then going to have him cancel his account and I'm then going to port over to Sprint from T-Mobile with the new Galaxy S9+.

Are there any potential hiccups that could occur or are we all good? This seems like the best way to take advantage of both the Samsung Black Friday deal and this BYOD 1 Year plan.

Thanks to anyone who helps! And Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Did you mean buy from TMO and move to Sprint?
I doubt you can do that and keep the discount..
Nobody else is doing that that I have seen. Unless I am missing it.

What everybody is doing is buy from Verizon or Samsung/Verizon or probably nest of all Best Buy/Verizon and later move to Sprint. That works, people say. You should be reading the relevant threads on Deals.

No I mean buy from sprint. Close the sprint account. Keep the phone. I currently have T-Mobile so then port from T-Mobile to Sprint with the new phone.
