Call the Sprint credit department directly at 800-639-6116 and ask.

If you cannot get an answer we know other contacts.
Thanks, is the rep at this number aware of the promotion/What should I ask them to do for the case.

But file for the ITIN NOW! You need one to even open a bank account, never mind an investment account! You can have one in a few weeks. Look at some articles on the Internet on how to get it quickly. You need it BEFORE you open the bank or investment account - not after.

I tried to get it last year with only the form 8843 and they denied as they deem all of my expense non-tax-able and I had no income. I was able to open a TD Bank account with my passport and I-20 over a year ago, and TD Ameritrade is kind enough to send me an offer to open a Foreign User Account, with which I could request a letter saying that I've gained interest via investment that subject to IRS reporting under exception 1(d). FYI, American Express also issued me my second credit card 3 months ago w/o both number after filling out the application online with the SSN field filled as 876543210 and call them to correct with identification number. From what I've read on the internet, the ITIN application could only be submitted together with the tax form, so I'd greatly appreciate if you could cite any alternate route that could get it done. Thanks beforehand!

Had this for a year, tried out Mint mobile for 3 months, some rough data and voice issues with them the first month, it's been decent lately, but Sprint was better...

Can I reuse the same SIMs from the last time?
Are there any issues coming from mint?

Shouldn't be any issues coming from Mint as I believe they run on AT&T. You can use the same sims, but only in the same phones they were originally used with.

That's good and that's what I said isn't it?

"516TQ or 416TQ"

But sure that was a good way to tell them how they would think of them by their most common use category.
Yes, you are the Sprint guru! Thanks again.

No problem!

It's interesting that the need for these latest sims is supposedly going to be to do authentication within the sim so that eventually sims can be swappable, which a lot of people are looking for.

Mint uses T-Mobile but no problems porting into Sprint. My kids went to mint from ringplus and hated it. Probably because 2gb ran out before month and spotty t-maybe coverage would drop to from lte to gsm/edge.This free plan was great for them to be back to Sprint and unlimited to boot.

As not to confuse others the international note 9(or any international phone) are not approved/whitelisted by Sprint.
Many know sprints limitations on data and voice at same time. It is always good to research when switching carriers, especially if you won't be able to get your old plan back.
Sprint store/online reps just want to sell and give wrong information many times.
I didn't give up my plan.

Yes the credit reps at that number are aware of this promotion because the credit department has to approve ALL applications. Actually they get a lot of calls from people who are turned down for one reason or another for the Free plan among others. IF they are able to accept your documentation (which we do not know yet) they can approve the credit part and then you would call the number ending in 8777 to sign up.

I would call during business hours.

As to the ITIN, I searched and I see it is hard to get. Most commonly they do require a return. However there is an exception (exception 1d) if you need a tax ID to open a bank account that pays interest, because the Bank has to have a tax number. So I would look for a bank that does so and will give you a letter like the sample in
https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p1915.pdf page 30.

Anyway that's all the time I can afford to spend on this but you can research it further.

Hi Guys, I got a new Pixel 3 XL (through the BB deal) and would like to use it with this deal, but when I put in my IMEI and phone # through the sprint website it says "Sorry, but this device can't be activated with Sprint service. Try another device, or Shop for a new device.". What's the deal? Thanks.

It is supported.

If you already put in on Fi that will block it.

Is it unlocked?

To help diagnose the problem, try it on the checkers at all of:
Tello,
Ting,
https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...phone.html (this is not the same checker as for Free byod)

Each will give different clues.

Ah, thanks. I've just received the phone and haven't had the chance to activate/payoff/unlock with Verizon yet. I guess after I do all of that it should become eligible.

Hopefully so.

From other posts you only need to pay it off to unlock it.with Verizon but there are some tricks to being able to do it right away.

Check back over the last 24 hours as I think someone just posted about unlocking Verizon. Someone also activated a Pixel 3 successfully..

I currently have a Sprint account in my name for my daughter's phone. I would like to have her get in on this deal in her own name, but she doesn't want to lose her current phone number. Is there any way we can make that happen?

I'm going to try to read through as much of the thread as I can. If anyone has any thoughts or advice for me I'd be super thankful!

My husband and I currently both have ZTE Zmax Pros through MetroPCS. His screen broke so he needs a new phone asap. Mine is fine but I'd like a new phone too if there's a good deal out there.

We prefer Android, a fairly large screen size, and a great camera is my favorite feature of the zmax that I'd like on a new phone. We mainly use them to browse internet play simple games and occasionally watch YouTube or stream.

What phone would you all recommended? Thank you so much!
