Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I am using freedompop ATT service. I tried to port 2 times and it didn't work. Do I have to say that my carrier is Att or freedompop?
Call Sprint porting dept 866-437-1818. They will be able to help. I successfully ported in 3 FP numbers by calling in. Didn't have to wait.

That's actually what the real life value of these phones for 90% of the people. If I buy the Pixel 3 full retail $800, or half priced $400, or a refurb Pixel OG for $180 on ebay, my usage and the benefit that I get from it is the same. But damnnnn I gotta have 1 of those crazy deals. 😀

Just a warning. I got in on the "free" service in May of this last year..... holy shit is the cell service bad.

I am switching this Friday. Free is not worth the terrible reception and terrible data transfer.

Or you could just buy a flip phone with 3g web browser for $1.99 on eBay and get the "same usage and benefit."

I have an old Moto X Pure Edition (unlocked) that I used to use on T-mobile but have since upgraded to a new phone. I'd like to sign up for this Sprint offer for a family member using that old phone, but not port a previous phone number. Need a new number. Is that situation eligible?

Also, apologies if this question has been asked and answered. This thread is huge.
Not sure if someone else already answered or if I'm correct for sure, but I believe you can use your current number to verify setting up a google voice number and then pay $3 to port the google voice number.

It depends on where you live. 20-45mbps for me.

Hi,
We have got 4 new lines activated from Verizon (ported out from Sprint) to make use of getting a new iPhones with Walmart gift cards for Thanks Giving.
When I try to pay off the full price of the phones on Verizon so we can get the BYOD 1-year offer, Verizon is not allowing to pay off until 12/10.
Any idea if this promotion be still valid post 12/10 so we can port out of Verizon and get the 1 year offer.
I see "Savings until 1/31/20" on Sprint offer page but does not specify if they are going to accept the new port in until 1/30/2019.
Any help/suggestion are much appreciated.
Thanks.

They already launched Volte in many markets and doing so in many more. I think this will be a noon issue in a few months.

Right. It is waiting on Samsung to release the brand switching update for Note 9.
Sprint lists them as eligible the moment that happens.
We had it first for S8, then Note 8 each months apart..
S9 was just 3 weeks ago.
Next up will be Note 9.

The idea is that Samsung allows the original carrier to be the only place you can use the phone for a year or whatever after release. It is a disgrace but that is the practice.
