Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

You can activate immediately once flag is off. Get sim card locally and call number ending in 8777 do not use online activation..

No you do not have to port from postpaid. From any non-Sprint carrier is fine.
I just got a message from Sprint that I need to contact my current Mvno and have them remove it. I think I'll go ahead and sign back up with Total Wirelss and figure this all out first.

Was finally able to get onto this today after getting ATT S9 unlocked. Took about an hour on the phone. Rep didn't let me take the protection plan off but said i can do it myself online. Wiki was very helpful. Thanks everybody! Let's see how Sprint coverage holds up.
Does the protection cost show up in your order estimate as a recurring charge? I am referring to multiple pdf files they send with the initial order estimate. Thx

Typical carrier BS...switch to our network, enjoy one year of so-so benefits, after one year be ready to get raped ...$100 for 2 lines.
No BS. They are upfront about all the charges. Port out before your 1 year is up and move on to the next best deal.

Darn.

Well sure go back to Total but why don't you pursue this regardless. It is not either/or. You can work on both at the same time.

Was it ever on a Sprint mvno (including Fi)?

Which one?

If you do not know, you can tell them that and ask what to do. They are doing it for some people.

Does it show up under current services? From dashboard to change services option and then select a device and then it shows up under current services?

It's never been on sprint. I may go to the store next time I go downtown and see what they say. Thanks for your help.

I don't know if they are doing it for others. I just made my post and left. Then I got a response and that's what the Sprint rep said. Have people been going there and getting them to remove the flag?

Hey guys,

How hard is it to add a phone and switch phone numbers around on this plan? My husband wants a new iPhone for Christmas, and I'm going to take his old phone while my son takes mine. I know it's not as easy as switching SIM cards with Sprint. And I've never had good luck with Sprint customer service. Am I going to have trouble getting them to move 3 phone numbers to different phones (only one of them will be new)? Any advice on how best to do that? Thanks.

Ok it has never been on Sprint. How about on a Sprint MVNO including Fi and FreedomPop?

And do you know this personally or are taking the word of somewhat you bought it from?

If you know personally, why not say that to the Community Support person and ask them to look at the database entry for the IMEI? I assume you gave the person the IMEI?

Any of those is trivial and takes 5 minutes if that.

Just setup the account. Manage Devices link next to phone number from dashboard - change services - current services. Surprisingly, Sprint Complete wasn't added. It's listed under "services you can add"

No and guy I bought it from on Swappa says it wasn't. Have no idea what the error is about. I'd never go on Sprint but since this is free, might be worth it. I prefer Verizon myself and then AT&T next. Sprint I prefer least.

The error just means it was on a Sprint mvno earlier and the mvno flag needs to be flipped.

In my opinion, the seller is not telling you the truth or may have bought it from someone else himself.

But as you say there are probably easier alternatives.

I would not argue that this whole Sprint mvno flag situation is a huge pain. Sprint lives in a bubble where it believes its MVNO's are going to do things most of them refuse to do.

But as we see many Verizon mvno's have issues with many Android phones too - in some cases arguably worse because there is no resolution there at all. Total is just exempt from some of them because it is TracFone with huge clout.

Somehow my credit was not approved. Can I add my number to my friends account who is using this same plan?
