Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

But does that mean everyone who signed up regardless of when they got on is free until the new end date? That means some people will get more than1 year free, no?
Yes. Depending on when you sign up, some have had more than a year of savings.

I didn't look at other carriers. But I'm sure that no operator yet asked me for ssn or even my DoB!
I'm not even getting a phone from sprint. I brought my own phone, and each and every rep is asking for my SSN and DoB (by phone!) even though they already have it in the system only to activate the SIM that they already shipped me!
post paid service will require credit check for every carrier. including ss# and DOB.

have u had a post paid carrier before?

also i did check every carrier bb rating. guess what , each and every one of them was average 1.
perhaps because it is a complaint site

100's of companies databases have been hacked, so your info is out there already. Signing up online with your info is no safer than giving out over phone since internet traffic can be monitored also. It is not a scam but most likely you will have to restart process over again by calling number ending in 8777.

Its much safer over internet b/c there's encryption (at least on that sprint page) and no human involved. Phone not safe at all + you are dealing with human
Thanks, but I am not signing another contract. And its likely that my phone is already signed with sprint. Definitely not going to buy 2nd phone
I will just let sprint to talk to BBB now

Sprint? Absolutely. It works well where I need it and I'm saving $285 per month for five lines.

FWIW Sprint seems to have lifted the overnight shipping requirement for ordering the SIM card through them. During checkout, I got both a Free Shipping (3-5 days) option or a Walgreens Pickup. Pulled the trigger after hearing that they may be providing a hotspot for the holidays.

Still not too confident about switching from AT&T Prepaid but I wouldn't mind saving $500 over a year.

So I assume you did it all online through the promo link in the OP. Correct? Did you happen to read the wiki?

From what I've read lately there policy has changed. What did she say is the minimum funding? $3? And did you ask for the pay as you go plan?

She didn't say any amount just pestered me to fund it..I asked for supervisor, she put me on hold and I got disconnected..called again and I'm on hold now..

yes, I asked for the pay as you go plan and told her I'll fund later when I get my new phone..
