Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I just got back from India while on this plan. As soon as I landed I got a welcome text from Sprint. On my Moto G6 (maybe different for iphone) I initially was unable to get data. I had to change the options from 4G to Auto and then turn on and off Mobile Data. I then had decent 3G coverage, god enough for Maps, calling Uber, Whatsapp, even Whatsapp calls - the last were sometimes spotty. Call rates are $0.25/minute and I did not make a single call on Sprint.
to add...text are free as well, in many countries, including india

Sprint banned me for life years ago when they were losing customers by the millions, they simply couldn't figure out why I was being charged roaming fees on their Network, so they banned me, lol. I've gotten dozens of people to leave Sprint, and that's after years of loyalty from me, Sprint literally is the dumb network.
They banned me also after 22years when I started to complain about their lies!

Here are the real cost.
$3 sim
$10 shipping
$30 activation
$4 monthly taxes and fees
$4 monthly sprint surcharges

One year total 43 + 8*12=139
Monthly avg is about $11.50
I regret transferring my Google Voice number to Sprint !!!
Start by reassuring yourself by getting rid of the $30 fee, and probably the $10 fee as well, from your list.

Just chat and ask.

It says clearly right in the offer on the Sprint page that the $30 fee will be credited back (you can find it if you bother to look).

Everybody has been getting free shipping too for the past few months.

Of course, if you had the read the Wiki you would not have paid either of these fees in the first place..

Pretty well everyone who complains completely ignores everything in the Wiki and then posts as if it does not exist.

If someone started to complain publicly about you (going so far as to allege you were a liar) would you continue to do business with them?

I would cut them off in a heartbeat.

Another question for help, When porting out of Sprint , what is the pin #, is it the number I chose when setting up the account? or there is a default number to use? Thanks again.
Yes it is the overall account pin you chose originally. Mine is 6 digits long.

Meaning the port wasn't done right/ completed on their end, correct?
I think it is time for me to update the main post.

If you were existing sprint customer before the port to T-Mobile, then yes. The moment the port to Tmobile is successful, your original sprint phone should have stopped working (check direct calling and texting) - direct being key word here - not the whatsapp calling using wifi or facetiming or iMessage texting

Click on view forum thread and then use Search this thread for keyword search within this specific deal thread. I use it all the time, as it is only available under classic forum thread. They should make it available here as well.

Porting out 2 lines from Sprint, when giving account number to new carrier, is it the number I see on my monthly bill? or I have to call to get account number for porting purposes?? Thanks again.

When I login to my Mysprint dashboard, I cannot see the "Global Roaming" feature listed? Is there there a place to confirm this?

Also, recently there was a promo discussed, like a 6-month International World Calling option, I forget what it was...

But, I just saw in the FAQ for the "Global Roaming" feature could be de-activated if you took the 6-month International World Calling promo, do you know if that is true, like someone on the BYOD plan found out for real?

Global roaming is described at.

You can use International Chat for any questions,

However, the rate for local calls is usually high so it is probably better to get a local sim card over there if she will be making more than occasional brief phone calls.

Global Roaming is really just Sprint's standard international roaming service and is included in all Sprint Plans so there is no reason to list it as an option.

It is also clearly stated in the Sprint Free BYOD plan web page as included in this particular plan so I would not worry about it. If you are still worried you can do International Chat and they will reassure you.

Yes there is a free International Calling promo and we are not eligible for it. I chatted and asked. We are also not eligible for Premium International Experience. That is stated on the Sprint web page for this offer.

Realistically Sprint is not going to give us free promotions from full priced plans that it has to pay other carriers for on a cash basis by the minute.

Looking to buy 2 decent phones for my kids to use for this promo since I can't bring over the LG X power from Xfinity. Maybe with the current ebay coupon? Any suggestions?
