Can't believe this deal is still going. Randomly checked a Sprint iPhone 5s I had and it was compatible so it's now activated as our 5th line after porting in another Google Voice #.

The monthly total is something like $6.50 for all lines....very surprising since California usually loves to tax the living daylights out of people.

I now have a Verizon Samsung S5 with a Republic Wireless phone number. I'll need to know which Sprint SIM to use in the S5 and if the S5 sill work on Sprint. I tried the S7 and it didn't work :/. And I saw a week or so ago someone mentioned that they didn't have any trouble moving their Republic Wireless number over. I can't find his comment now. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🤗

Your SSN has to be have been away from any use on Sprint for 45 days (see the Wiki for some additional comments).

Then you qualify as a new customer and can sign up for new-customer-only offers like this one, all over again.

You can use the same phones, same numbers, same sims.

Couple questions if anyone knows the answers.

Is there a length of time, that the number being ported in, has to have been active? Basically, I have a Verizon account I could add a line to, so if I were to add a new line, could I then port that new # to Sprint a day later? Or if I activated a prepaid service for 1 month, could I port that # over immediately?
Also, anyone used an LG V20 to signup for this plan? My friend has a V20 Sprint phone he doesn't use and will give to me if it will work on this plan. The Sprint community page where the updated list is won't load for me, so figured i'd ask here.
use the sprint byod checker to see if your phone works on sprint.

Should be a sim ending in 416Q, right?

Model XT1900?

I would check that the phone is unlocked and has latest updates.
Yes changed the sim card to the SIMGLW416Q instead of SIMOLW416Q.
Got them to change the sim and still got the same message till I did a reset on carrier settings in the phone and in a heartbeat it started working. Thanks for all the help. After the torture the next torture was realizing the phone was updating firmware in a contiguous manner from Jan 2018, I am now till November 2018... wtf one update per month and no direct jump!!!

Now that I got my son a Moto x4, and the service at home is verified. Can anyone recommend a phone in $300 -$350 with a very good camera that would work on sprint and would work on gsm carriers.
Wife barely uses any app other than camera and WhatsApp, maybe some other secret chat app I am not aware of Wink

Outstanding that you got it working using steps suggested in fact by a bunch of different people here!

It never makes a difference to use SIMOLW versus SIMGLW prefix sims, as such, (those are just manufacturer location codes), but on the other hand just switching sims can be useful as one way to trigger a reprovisioning that enables other changes.

I imagine you tried reset carrier settings earlier, but probably it was only effective after other steps.

"maybe some other secret chat app I am not aware of" ...lol, good one...a refurb Google Pixel XL 2 on ebay can be had for around that price. just buy from a reputable seller that has generous return policy so if the phone comes and you are not satisfied, you can easily return it. Pixels have awesome camera algorithymns and are unlocked, so it can can be used to jump around all the different carriers.

Hundreds have ported in a Google Voice number. To port you need the account number and the pin number of your current carrier. Your account number is the same as your Google voice phone number. Your pin number is the same number as your voice mail pin number.

Does unlocked AT&T iphone 7 work on Sprint? AT&T had unlocked my iphone 7 but Sprint says this device can not be activated. Any thoughts or suggestions?
