Hey, anyone used Sprint Global Roaming when travelling out of USA? Like how seamless was it and maybe how much does it cost to calling local calls in that country/receiving calls/calls to US or it straight 0.25 $/Minute?

Any tips / advice?

Thanks

If not, I would post on community.sprint.com as they have agents that have high-level contacts in Sprint to escalate and resolve such issues via private follow-up..

Thanks for the suggestion, I will post it on the sprint community website.

Just wondering if other people who ported from Google Voice, having the same issue with receiving Text messages from Verizon numbers. It looks like a lot of people complained about it online regarding the same issue.

Are we still eligible for this free 1 year plan doing porting in from T Mobile? The landing page only says Verizon and AT&T.

Seamless. When you turn on your phone in the new country, it will confirm that you have free texts and low speed data, plus it will tell you the rate for phone calls, which varies by country. My kids have seen .20 and .25 per minute.

What was it supposed to be for?
Did you look at the itemization that explains each charge?
It is an administrative charge. It has been waived. I only have some government fee for .40 I have to cover.

Thanks for the information.

That's very impressive that you got them to waive the $2.50 monthly admin charge.

It is stated right in the terms and conditions: "A standard $2.50 admin fee, $0.40 regulatory fee and other taxes and fees apply"

I wonder if it could just be a one-time "courtesy waiver" though. Nobody else has reported getting it waived. Or, if they really will waive it, that would be something else!

I actually agree with you that charging it seems to contradict their advertising that the plan is "free."

I think they mean CDMA or GSM phones.
