Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Hey all Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm having problems searching through this post. I have an att number and phone at the moment and am thinking about trading it in at the apple store for an unlocked , sim free iPhone XR. I called customer service and he said it would work - however it's not on the approved device list . Don't want to end up with a new iPhone and no free service. Thanks for any help.
It is on the approved list. See the link in the Wiki in the first few lines of the Wiki to the ONLY CURRENT VALID list.

Do phones marked bad esn (on ebay) work on international carriers if one manages to unlock? Or they are really used for parts only? These are new phones in the box marked with bad esn. Who the hell would pay $750/800 for iPhone Xs for parts when I can get a new good esn one for $100-200 more.
Sprint is the strictest of all major carriers and will never activate a foreign phone unless you can get Apple to first re-SKU it as a U.S. phone (which they are not going to do for a phone bought on EBay)..

Need urgent help•••••
Anybody know wheather onePlus 6T unlocked sold by oneplus(not tmobile) will work on sprint? Or anybody using?
•• long story short- i sold my s9+ then bought Iphone Xs. Phone has wifi lte connectivity/speed problem. I already changed twice, both same. If somebody confirm me about oneplus 6T, then i will return Xs, only 3 days left of return policy.

Thanks in advance
No it is not.
Having a few CDMA bands but omitting Sprint's voice band BC10 and not being certified by Sprint hardly qualifies it as compatible and Sprint has not approved it despite wishful thinking by its maker. You would not be able to make phone calls with it in any case.

What does it say in full?
What is the model number and the original carrier?

What carrier is it on now?
Did you buy it used? From whom?

Model MQAQ2LL/A iPhone X
Original carrier T-Mobile

I've successfully activated the phone on Xfinity Mobile for use previously. Using t-mobile again now.

That's quite true - it is.

You will have to get it off FP first.
It is an iPhone 5, locked to sprint. Would all of the sprint MVNO's prevent me from using this deal?

The iPhone 5 is unique that it cannot be unlocked from Sprint. They only started unlocking domestic for iPhone 5s.

That's the GSM (A1901) model so it's not eligible for sprint services.
You can see the wiki for a list of eligible phones for this offer.

Being locked to Sprint is not a problem at all.

The problem is just that it is already on Sprint's network.

Any Sprint MVNO is going to be the same.

But you can just take it off Sprint's network.into inactive state and then it can be ok immediately. First move your number alone elsewhere if you want to keep it - see Wiki.

But if you bought it from FP rather than took it there via BYOD, it has to have been on FP for 6 months before FP will not let it go I think.

You will need FP to release the MVNO flag when they release the phone (tell them you want to use it on Sprint postpaid).. I think they do that automatically.

Also Sprint reps may not like the phone because it is so old but you can probably get around that.

That phone is gimped Intel modem model A1901. It is.not compatible with CDMA networks. On xfinity it would only work on their LTE network but not their CDMA network. Sprint won't approve since lacks CDMA compatibility. The A1901 would be compatible with Sprint LTE network(band25,26,41) and be able to use volte for voice calls in some areas. But Sprint still relies on cdma for voice in many areas so they won't whitelist the A1901.

Interesting, I just inactived, but Sprint said it had a invalid owner state. Does it need some time to clear the system?

We just ported our 4 lines to XM and got new phones. I need to cancel our sprint service. Can we do the 1 year BYOD since our sprint phones are paid off, and port back into sprint?

Thank you in advance.

Excellent you are making rapid progress!

Yes that is right - it may take some time..

Possibly you might have to wait for FP business hours for them to flip the flag.

Check it in the Ting checker if it is taking a long time.

what does inactivated mean ? You swapped a different phone for it ? You cancelled the account ?

Where did you get the phone ?
