Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Anyone had luck getting SIM card in Sprint store prior to calling and having account? I have one just downstairs.
They are max. $2.50 (sometimes free) at any Sprint-owned store but independently owned stores usually will not sell them or only at whatever price they want. Maybe if you are a neighbor they might give you one.

In general only Corporate-owned stores will give them or sell them cheap. They should all have them. The 4-in-in-kit covers all phones for $2.99.
I went to one last night and they didn't have any and acted like it was a long shot kind of question I asked. I'll try to do another store today and hopefully they have better customer service.

That sounds like a franchise.

How did you verify it was a corporate OWNED store, if you did?

Every single one is required to sell them.

Just ask for the 4-in-one sim kit for $2.99.

Call ahead.

If you are having trouble distinguishing corporate owned stores, go to one with a repair department.

Oh, I didn't realize there was a difference. The store was a "Sprint Store". I assumed it was corporate owned. Thanks for the info.

Most Sprint stores are franchises unfortunately.

Does anyone know if you can add the $3 public IP address as a service without it affecting the BYOD plan? It shows up as an option for add on service. Thanks.

I do not see anything against it in the terms and conditions so I think you should be able to do so.

They have not been taking away the free plan willy-nilly at all in general, except when people force costs on them to pay commissions by going through stores or dealers that bill Sprint for the commissions. Even then it is the dealer that is forcing the plan change in order to get the system to allow the sale.

Just changing an option yourself should never force a plan change. The worst is that it would be ignored.

Some here have said when using TMo port, if you were asked for your email, a TMo welcome email may contain your account number. Also the account number may also be your "1+10 digit number". Best to make certain before proceeding, as if the account and/or PIN number is incorrect, it may further delay and cause issues with your port in to sprint.

I contacted sprint CS today and they told me that since im on cricket pre-paid that the offer was not eligible. Cricket is owned by AT&T and it even says in the FAQ in this post that pre-paid competitors are eligible. Has anyone from cricket been able to port over and get this deal?

Don't call or chat with Customer Service - they do not deal with signing up for this special targeted offer and just guess (often wrongly) at all questions about it by reading plan descriptions.

Just call the number ending in 8777 given in the Wiki and sign up. You will have no problem. Lots of people have come from Cricket.

The Wiki is accurate. The REAL answers are here already.

This offer is click or call only and you can only call the number ending in 8777, not other numbers and there is no Chat support.

That's BS. I ported 3 lines from Cricket last week.

Anyone know what the cheapest eligible unlocked smartphone would be? Also, could someone using an international phone qualify? Thanks!

My unlocked Galaxy Note 9 (originally from Tmobile) is coming up as ineligible.
Any way to add it?
