Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I used the online website option for porting into TMobile on the paygo plan. Still had to pay but no waiting, set my own pin and got the account number on the next page of submitting payment. Worth it not waiting online, Wondering if you'll get a rep who will let you not pay, knowing the account number right away and not having to deal with a person.

for the cost of the digital sim card plus the 3 dollar paygo plan plus tax it should be the standard choice now with all I'm hearing about trouble calling in
Totally agree and the method i just used.

I have revised my own wiki edit to show: Easiest T-mobile porting method while highlighting the word 'Easiest'

Just ported over today and started my service in Los Angeles area.

Overall sprint speeds is slow... Coming from tmobile, tmobile ping response time is faster. Definitely usable as a free service though, so I'll stick with it for now and see how it is for my commute and work

Tip: if your phone is rooted, download 'Network Cell Lite' in the play store to be able to lock bands.

In my area, b25 is the best, so it's giving me stable 4-8mbps down and 2-4mbps up

Do you notice if you're roaming on Tmobile at all? That seems to be the big plus these days on Sprint it immediately roams to Tmobile if you get in Sprint dead spot. Assuming the phone has the Tmobile bands.

No root needed, see Wiki:

if you're experiencing data connectivity issues with higher-frequency Sprint LTE bands, such as 25/41, you can force it to use 26 (850MHZ) by following these instructions:
Install LTE discovery app and check which LTE band is giving you trouble.
Sprint got 25 (1900mhz), 26 (850mhz) and 41 (2500). 26 is the best for penetrating buildings and distance-wize, 25 is the next "best" and 41 is for capacity.
So, if your phone chooses 25 or 41 - try disabling them following instructions:
To get better data try to disable LTE Band 25 and 41. That forces it to use Band 26 which is giving much improved data/internet.
In some areas in can drop down to 3G but that is usually plenty good enough to use, you can even watch live IPTV sometimes, even when the phone shows as only on 3G. You normally get 4-6 Mb download and upload speeds in most areas. Not great speed but plenty useable.

1) To disable Band 25 open the phone app and try *#*#3282#*#* or ##3282## depending on the phone.
2) Select "LTE".
3) Select "Bands".
4)Tap on the menu, which on our phones is in the upper right corner and select "Edit". When it asks for the Passcode or MSL try 000000 which is the MSL on most of our phones. If that doesn't work you may need to call or chat with Sprint to get the MSL for your phones.
5) Select "Band 25 Enabled" and select "Off". Do the same for band 41.
6) Select "Done" and get out of the app and reboot the phone. It should now be using Band 26

I could not find that capability in the App "Network Cell Info Lite" by Wilysis.

Is that the app you had in mind?

Or did you just mean use that App to see what bands are in use, then use device specific commands to actually lock them?

I already use device specific dialer commands on some models to do this but am interested if you are saying there is an app.

Iam not able to open the menu for Google Pixel 2.
After entering *#*#3282#*#*, phone app gets stuck and does not respond...

You cant respond at all, or your responses do not send in the group but instead send separately to all group members?
