Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

there is no HS as of ~7/15

ur phone will not even do HS as it needs to be provisioned by S to your phone.
(ie when u do profile update etc)

folks have used pda + net to skirt around the issue
Confirming that pdanet+ works. To be exact it worked for me on Jan 6, didn't try after. Actually the quoted post finally convinced me to take advantage of this Sprint offer. So my thanks to desi_babu_2010. Sorry, couldn't find quickly how to give a rep. Did switch online. Couple of notes, didn't see them in wiki at a glance. Last digit of imei is generated from previous numbers so imei on the activation page appears without that last digit. Looks confusing but just let it go. If you port from a post paid plan, do it close to the last day of your billing cycle. Because you will be charged for a whole month regardless of what day you port out. I was told by a t-mobile rep, it's an FCC regulation to protect you from loosing your number if something goes wrong during porting process. Didn't verify.

Update - after 4 hrs of struggle I was able to port in to Sprint. The reason agents were not performing port in was because these mother Fu****s tried selling me device protection plan which I was saying no no.... and to last agent I asked if that's why my port in is not going through... she said maybe...then i was like add this device protection plan and I will cancel that later... my port in went through.... look at these mother f.... wasted my 4 hrs. Hopefully this trick may work for you guys if you are going through this same problem.
Yes that's what we all do - just take it for the sake of expediency and cancel it later.

It is in our standard advice in the Wiki.

You can cancel it right now - using Chat or the DashBoard is easiest..

I agree it is a complete disgrace but we just got used to taking it and cancelling it.

It actually hurts Sprint more to do it this way and I used to fight over it but now I do not care any more if it hurts them because they are being dishonest.

All you have to do is say YES and after everything setup. Go to your account and remove it. You can use chat if you don't wanna do it yourself

found 3 regular tmobile sims at home, tried them on the tmobile port in link from Wiki, it shows sims are OK to be activated. So these sims are good to be used for porting purposes? Are these even better than the digital sim? Thanks .

Yes they will work. Yes I guess you could consider them better than digital ones. You can put them in your phone and have working service with them for a little bit.
