I tried twice with my compatible galaxy S8+. Both of the times, the application goes well till the credit check part. After permitting for credit check, the application goes no where. It does not say what is wrong or if am eligible. I also contacted their customer service and the representative repeated the same process. Still he had no answer why the application does not go through. I have a credit score above 750. So, there should not be any issue with it. Anyone else had the same issue and knows what is really happening here?

All plans now include free unlimited roaming on TMobile - this is a recent development under the new Sprint-TMobile roaming agreement so you might not be aware of it.
My area is strong TMO, but weak Sprint. Once or twice a few months ago, I saw "Extended" with full bars which I assumed to be roaming onto TMO. But nothing lately. Anything special to do on the phones to permanently enable this?

I'm using iphones from Sprint postpaid as well as Sprint mvno. Plans on both postpaid as well as freebie.

Anyone coming to the end of their free year like me, Mint Mobile is a good solution. Right now 3 months for $20. You can find cash back sites with $20 back so you really just pay the taxes like you do on here. Mine was $3 total. After that runs out I can come back to this deal if it's still going.
The Mint Mobile 3mo for $20 is only for new activations. Unless I'm missing something, that is not a lot of runway Smilie

100% correct. That's what I said in the post. Then after I can come back if I want to. Plus like I said with the cashback it's really over about $3.xx for the three months.

No. I received BOA credit card 2-3 months back and I tried this offer a month after getting that card. I also noticed one hard inquiry on my credit report by Sprint based on creditkarma.

A lot of people with Samsungs and Motos are disabling weaker Sprint bands to force the phone to TMo bands. However iPhones do not allow you to do that.

Also the roaming is not available on MVNO's .

Hopefully after the merger goes through (if it does), the networks will start to get integrated.

It could be anything.

Just call TeleSales at the special number ending in 8777 given in the Wiki and sign up by phone. That is the best way to sign up anyway according the Wiki, to avoid glitches just like this, and others.

Customer Service is not trained on this offer.

If they press you to take the phone insurance coverage, it is usually best to just take it. Then use Chat later to cancel it.

When you get the device unlocked and then click on UICC, does it usually say device is unlocked for any sim or does it say it is unlocked for any international uicc and sprint uicc. How the hell sprint is making this distinction? So there is two types on uicc unlock? International unlock and total unlock which includes domestic+international uicc unlock? Even with the regulations, these carriers don't unlock the device properly.

Any feedback? I am on call with Sprint right now and pissed.

Sprint account services is telling me there is two unlock process: one for international and other for domestic. They are processed separately. I don't know if this true, but that's what they are telling me.

iPhone unlocking is even more crazy. You have to reset the damn device.

You can request either or both unlocks.

https://www.sprint.com/en/legal/u...evice.html
https://www4.sprint.com/legal/unl...olicy.html

Unlock requests should be made only to Account Services which is not Support and is not Customer Service..

I have got both unlocks no problem just by asking for both.

Then it says "unlocked for any sim." The wording may vary slightly on different phones.

I'm noticing a huge difference in quality lately... This week it started I think. Voice quality is lower, data is unreliable and more spotty than it has been... Pretty disappointed. Gonna try Mint again with that $20/mo offer, and maybe consider switching
