Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Currently there's only the -$5 for auto pay offsetting the $5 one line fee. But I'll wait a day or two and see if another offset appears.
Sure. You can also look at your dashboard online and make sure that the "Complete" insurance no longer shows up as active.

As long as it is gone, you will get a credit by month end in my experience (because it is prorated) but it never hurts to Chat and they can tell you what the credit will be and when it will appear, which may not be until month end.

Oh ok then it is probably just the usual Fi situation and you should be able to get Fi support to toggle the database so you can activate them on Sprint postpaid instead of Fi.

Actually as far as I know it has all the Sprint bands. I do not know about VoLTE.
I checked specs at gsmarena and it shows the moto x4 only covers band 41 but this is on the generic model setting. When I took a second look, thanks to comintel, I selected the xt1900-1 model which DOES have all 3 Sprint lte bands

Thanks again comintel!

Now I need to try to switch both my phones over to the x4's...

Also I used the Ting imei checker and it totally worked! It pushed the imei open without needing to contact Google fi !

Did you try them on sprint checker before calling? What was error? If they were previously on Fi or Sprint mvno you will need to have PLBL flag flipped.
In addition to comintel's suggestions. You could try entering imei on Ting byod checker as it can sometimes push into Sprint database.
Many people have used the X4 on sprint. Several SD threads on X4 recently including $49 at Best Buy by activating with Sprint.
Thanks edog11

Wow great to hear and I am glad edog11 thought to mention that that often works. I initially misunderstood that you were getting a different error that would not have been consistent with that being the issue.

That fix seems to be working more and more often.

You can swap on the phones from your dashboard or Chat.

Had this for almost two months and the service is considerably worse than Mint Mobile which uses T-Mobile network. Kind of sad that a major carrier can't even compete with MVNOs. Guess you get what you pay for with this free plan, not much.

Right.

SWAC is for Friends and Family of Sprint employees, and requires an employee referral, which is impossible to get for most people unless they know someone who works for Sprint.

There is another whole thread here of people begging for a SWAC "invite," and not one person who begged publicly has got one. It is just not going to happen for them - Sprint staff will not give them out that casually. They are not intended for general customers (with rare exceptions).
I think I saw some people getting it to the sprint reddit few months back, although the mods over there has shut down the requests now. Honestly I wouldn't pay sprint $30 per month , I would prefer to get h2o or red pocket 1 year plans from eBay. But sprint saved me lot of money over last 2 years and one more year !

WOW!!! My $100 Cashback from the cashback site B* Fr***L just posted as available to redeem!! Can't believe Sprint actually paid out on this. I got $100 CB on this Free plan! All I did was click the link from the CB site and ordered my Sim Card back in December. This is fantastic!

Here's the kicker, On the CB site it stated that it was $25 for the BYOB Free plan but $100 posted and now Paid out! Fantastic!

Just a DP, in the NY Metro area Sprint is Fantastic. No complaints what so ever. I guess it really depends on your location.

It just depends where you live.
I am on Mint right now temporarily waiting to get another free Sprint year and TMobile is far worse here in North Raleigh. No signal at all in some places. I cannot wait to get back on Sprint.

Also with the right phone you can access TMobile towers as well anyway via unlimited Free roaming. Best of both networks.

Yes there have been a few rare offers on reddit but none in many weeks/months now.

Also last year at one point there was a contest and there were plenty of offers for all for a while. I can see a possibility this could occur again this year, especially if the merger falls through.

Thank you comintel

Yes they are xt1900-1 from Google fi

Checker reply was "ineligible for this promo"

I'll follow the directions you gave if I decide to switch to the x4's. I didn't plan on using fi originally but I ended up buying these phones from the front page fi deal and I didn't read the google fi instructions in the wiki since I didn't plan to go that route.

On a side note, I'm also frustrated at myself for not checking the radios built in the phone as the x4's only have band 41 covered for Sprint lte. Which I'm assuming will mean that my Sprint branded lg g5 will get better reception anyway...

EDIT REGARDING MY MOTO X4 COMMENT ABOVE:
I checked specs at gsmarena and it shows the moto x4 only covers band 41 but this is on the genetic model setting. When I took a second look, thanks to comintel, I selected the xt1900-1 model which DOES have all 3 Sprint lte bands
That edit is good info. Moto x4 seems to be well optimized for Sprint network. Just lacks native wifi calling.
I Continue to be amazed at the values available on handsets. No need to pay for flagship phones any more

Not sure what phones can do this but I have a new XS Max unlocked that should work on all the bands but I still get next to no signal while the old 6s+ is getting great signal with the Mint plan.

Do you have roaming enabled and VoLTE turned on?

It seems you have to.

Other than that, it seems to vary by area.

On my Samsung S8 you can force it to roam by disabling Sprint bands but you cannot to that on iPhones.
