Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Finally it's almost worth the price of admission. I had Sprint in college. They'd have to pay me to use it again.

What phones do you have? Have you run the imei through the sprint link in the wikipost?

I've been on this plan for about 9 months using both a Pixel 2 XL and Pixel 3 XL. I would like to re-up before this promotion ends. The service sucks in general but for $4/month you take the good with the bad.

How do I go about utilizing my sim card on new service? Do I have to cancel my current plan first to detach the sim card from the current account? I'm planning on porting in from a burner Google Voice account. Any suggestions for that?

Thanks in advance. This thread wasn't nearly as informative when I first signed up and it looks like a bunch of wrinkles have been ironed out

Yes and Yes. Both are enabled but still won't seem to grab the much better Tmobile signal when it should. I should start taking side by side speedtests to show just how inept Sprint is in comparison.
Ok sorry to hear that.

Thanks. Somewhere on the thread it was mentioned post paid only. So I wasn't sure if mint prepaid would be eligible.

if you are so sure your device can be activated on Sprint, but eligible for BYOD..

then find any phone that is eligible for BYOD and activate it first.
then swap the device to your device.

No problem, the wiki post has all the latest updated info, anything else is most likely old outdated info.

do the simple one, T-mobile .
it cost $6.xx per line. but can be done easy as 123. Hope you read it wiki.
let me write it here again.

Before you start -
Know Sprint Acct # and PIN#
The device IMEI
TMobile: SIM CARD #

Then
1. go to ebay and find tmobile sim card (un used of course). E delivery only. (less than $3)
2.Once you receive, go to Tmobile pre paid sim card activation page
3. activate it with porting in from your sprint.
4. You will have to prefill min. $3. required.
5. Once it is done, write down T-mobile Acct # and PIN #.
6. You dont need to take your sprint SIM CARD from the current phone. Just leave it there.

if you are done it correctly, it should be in 10 mins.
but to confirm, log into Sprint to check your number does not show.
if you don't see it, then the port out is done.

or Go to Sprint BYOD 1 year free site and enter your device IMEI and phone again.

Everything is ready?

Before you start -
Know TMobile Acct # and PIN#
The device IMEI
Sprint: SIM CARD # (the one you were using).

Call Sprint BYOD # (check wiki) then open with your wife/friend/father or mother or anyone who didn't have a Sprint acct.
answer the questions..

you are all set !

no one know. you don't have to believe. it is all upto you. Smilie

Even it is true, it might be extended again. who knows.

The question is .. are you willing to take a chance? Smilie

My 1st BYOD
Sept 2017 ~ May 2018

My 2nd BYOD
March 2018 ~ Current (in progress to extend another year)
(There was a rumor like now, it will be ended on March 2018. so I didn't take a chance)

My 3rd BYOD
Just started last weekend Smilie
so it will be April 2020. (hope they can extend it again. I have one more person in my family)

so far, Sprint Service my home area is awesome ! I might stay with Sprint even when I am done with BYOD.

Using 5 lines ! (paying under $20 Smilie)

I had VoLTE on an iPhone X and after I re-upped a couple days ago, I lost that feature. Anyone experience something similar? I'm in the LA market.
