Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Hopefully they will be wrong again like ultrsoul(corporate sprint). Yes eternal optimist but take steps to minimize risk. The edited post had some errors or missing eligible devices but was reviewed since moto G7 and S10/e/+(without special edition) are on there. So just another post to confuse people about eligible devices.
I think he's with Verizon now. My gut tells me that he was "the employee to be named later" in the " can you hear me now " trade

Well this is what I am thinking, the article which states that sprint in ending this promotion was dated March 6 2019, when we all knew the deal was till 3/31/2020. On March 7 the deal gets extended to 4/30/2020. On March 6 we did not know if this deal was going to be extended past march 2019. The writer of the article knew that the deal was going to be extended in April. This makes me completely believe that sprint is ending this deal in early April.

Secondly the original poster of this deal is "andrewmackoul" and the name of the article author is Andrew Chen, lol makes me suspect they may be the same person. If you believe that then I would also believe 4/4 date to be real.

Its all speculation but somehow this time I feel the end is very near
No doubt. What you say is probably correct. However since the beginning any prudent guest here should know that what was posted on day one is still valid today. That is limited time offer can end anytime

Kind of hoping that it doesn't on April 4th. Because then we can test our other theory on whether or not we can add more lines between April 4th and the end of your deal
Very true!

Also, even if they do allow continued addition of lines, they might go to a strict interpretation that the port in has to come from a postpaid Verizon or AT&T Account.

When other departments such as Sprint Community got involved in individual cases, they have on at least one occasion seemed to say the lines could not come from mvno's. Sprint Community is very well connected high up in Sprint so I suspect that may have been the original intention.

So they could possibly revert to the formal policy that the line has to come from a postpaid carrier.

More likely it would be left where it is I guess, but it is not 100% sure.

I doubt that Sprint officially blessed the practice of allowing port-ins from mvno's etc because it is contradicted by the official terms and conditions. It would not stand up on internal audit etc. Best practices require that published policies be adhered to. So it is insecure in my opinion.

Yes. It requires your credit check which telesales team do it when you call wiki 8777 no and they will setup your account based on credit check. If it goes well, they will order SIM for your eligible phone.

No you will not be able.to.
But isn't that illegal? I am not doubting your answer, just trying to understand.
There is a law somewhere that requires carriers to unlock your phone once it is paid off and not under contract. Isn't that law applied to Samsung?

All S10's except the factory unlocked version are restricted by Samsung to the original carrier for the better part of a year after release.
I just had a chat with Samsung. They said that once the phone is unlocked by TMobile, I certainly can use it on Sprint. Samsung does not prevent the phone from working with other carriers. We will find out in 40 days. Thanks.

Well you have a darn good point.

The carriers will unlock it on their side but until Samsung brings out its BYOD update 8 months later (edog11 knows the number of months better) - that is just my impression) for that model you cannot actually move it to another carrier.

I agree with you that amounts to a group circumvention of the CTIA Voluntary Unlocking Commitment that they all made. https://api.ctia.org/docs/default...ocking.pdf By making the volntary pledge, they avoided an actual law being passed.

I guess by having Samsung in charge of it, they are pretending they have nothing to do with it!

Samsung has brought out its BYOD "brand switching " update about x (say 8) months after release for all of S8, Note 8, S9.

Note 9 will be next and then many months later S10, if all goes to pattern.

They know absolutely nothing in support . This has been raised with them many times.

Note 9 is still not (quite) at that point yet. Many people here are still waiting for it to be able to move their other-carroer-branded Note 9's onto Sprint (and other carriers)..

It is the last date of free service.

The last date to sign up may be early next month - see the Wiki.

Guys,
I just exchanged my note 9 with XS Max. Unfortunately I don't have any corporate sprint stores or apple stores near me. But, BB has boost 4 in 1 sim pack. Can I buy it and use it on sprint for Xs Max? I know wiki mentioned this "Best Buy has a Boost Mobile triple SIM pack which works on Sprint (comes with SIMOLW416Q + SIMOLW506C + SIMOLW506TQ SIM cards inside) http://www.bestbuy.com/site/boost...Id=5887020 "
But I wasn't sure that it will work with max or not?
Any help is appreciated. TIA
