I tried online, but it looked broken with error messages like yesterday. I didn't force it since yesterday was a mess when I did that
Thanks.

Thanks a lot for the reply. When you called in , did you tell the agent that you chose $3 plan? What plan you told them you would use? Thanks again.
Yes. I said I wanted the 3 dollar plan. The phone is number is specific to pre paid activation, so they should know what you want

i ported one number friday to tmobile, and after checkout, the sprint sim card almost instantaneously lost service. i'm ported another number into t-mobile today, but the sprint service for that phone number is still working. it's been 15 minutes. is this normal?

I thought they would have been enabled by now, but not seeing anything new in BYOD list..
I knew you would be monitoring it.

Well hopefully it will just drop in our laps one day soon.

heard that there have been issues with Tmobile porting over the past two days. Porting should be instant if no issue. So you paid $3 plan charge?

yes i did. i called tmobile activation again, and 15 minutes later, that number lost sprint service, and shows eligible on the site again. i did port in another number at the same time online, but that one hasnt lost sprint service yet. i'm thinking i should call so they can activate the sim again

Can the free lines be converted to SWAC or $25/line kickstart at the end of the year, or will I be stuck with the crappy $120/three lines plan unless I port out?
You cannot literally convert them to either one automatically, but Retentions has been offering retention plans for $25 to many people, that either were kickstart or were very similar to it, in which case it would just be a straight continuation.

Worst case you port out and wait 45 days or use another SSN for whatever offers are open at the time, if any.

It will depend how anxious Sprint is at the time for customers and what promotions they have.

Personally I think they will still be desperate on the "old" Sprint side even if the merger is approved. It will take up to 2 years to complete the merger.

yes, paid $3, and yes, used digital sim. so my only indication of whether the port was successful was whether the sprint sim lost service

Yes. That's the way to test if using digital sim, I have both digital and physical sims, will try digital first, since it's confirmed that the account number is 1 plus phone #.

I just called and ported into T-mobile. The CSR gave me a 9 digit account number. Did she accidentally give me a wrong number or should I be using my 1+ph number as my account number.

I ported to Tmobile over phone, the agent gave me the account number , which is not 1 plus phone number. I actually didn't even ask for the account number, as I thought it is 1 plus phone number? Am I missing anything here? Which number should be the correct one for porting back to Sprint, the one given by the agent or 1 plus phone number? Thanks.

Do you need a digital SIM if you are porting to T-Mo? I have been using the nano SIMs from the Apple Store the past few years.
