Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Yup, still 10 digits to Sprint agent. No where I had to add the 1+
Some posters have said it will work with or without the 1.

Of course, this is for people who did not pay $3.

Those who paid $3 have a generated account number that is not based on the phone number.

If you don't have a name on the T-Mobile prepaid account, but inform the Sprint Telesales rep to use your name, will it create an issue on the port over? I told her to put the name on because I didn't want to say the T-Mobile line was prepaid (thought promo said postpaid?).
It does not matter.

By the way all prepaid carriers are accepted also including even GV and FP.

They are not insisting that it has to be postpaid.

I used a Tmobile physical sim to port from Sprint to T without adding $3, then ported back to Sprint, could anybody please let me know if this physical sim can be reused again? Thank you !
This is good. I'd like to do the same. Can you give the steps? E.g.How could you tell it ported?

My father in law's Moto G6 broke and I'm looking for a basic flip phone. Checking ebay, seller gave me IMEI numbers.

IMEI says "Sprint service already activated". Does this mean I can't use that phone?

Other IMEIs go on to the next screen for me to "Validate you SIM".

Is it safe to assume that the latter IMEIs are good to go? Will I be able to use the sim from the Moto G6 to put into the Kyocera flip phone?

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this thread.

Verified that my unlocked S9 works with this plan last weekend and picked up $2.99 SIM at the Sprint store. Got account number from Mint earlier today and called to set up the plan. Call went well, didn't argue about Sprint Complete Care or whatever it's called, the agent was happy about that, walked me through the process and waited on the line until I could call, send/receive texts and use data. After the call, logged into my account verified that the plan is correct, and did a chat to get rid of Sprint Complete package. Anything else I should do before setting a calendar reminder to the end of Feb 2020 to start looking at what options are available?

"Sprint service already activated" just means it is already active (or was never fully disconnected). You cannot check it until the seller takes it off his account. Ask him if it is on Sprint postpaid or on an mvno.

No you cannot move a sim from one phone to another that requires a different sim. Actually, the oldest Kyocera flip phones do not even use a sim. . I activated one on this plan but you will have to call in to do so and tell them it does not use a sim.

I think all the porting info is on wiki, Read the wiki regarding porting to Tmobile , it has steps for you to follow. My question van not be found anywhere, if the physical Tmobile sim can be reused if no $3 ever added? Still waiting for some one who could answer this? Thanks.

It's been posted on here that they were able to reuse the t mobile e sim. I just don't know about the details etc since I did not do it.

Ported 4 numbers over to T-Mobile (calling, not online). 3 went through in about 30 minutes and one is still in limbo, going on 5 hours now. Called
but said have to wait 24 hours for the full port to transfer. Will see what happens overnight....

Thank you @comintel
Since this is a reseller, I'm assuming I should avoid those IMEIs that say "sprint service already activated" since they don't know if ti works on post paid or not (that's why he gave me all the IMEIs for the phones he had in stock).

Do the phones IMEIs that move on to the next screen "validate your SIM" mean that it could work? or at least a better chance of working? It's only $20 for the phone but I don't want to waste that money if I can find one that will work on sprint without too much hassle.

I tried to switch today and i backed up. The customer service is the worst. Never been put on hold for 38 minutes until today by sprint customer service. And every 10 minutes he tells me to be patient while they are updating their system. Bad customer service ever
