Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

When you ported in store, were you trying to port with the same number that you initially used with the digital SIM?
No. So far, my current status is: my main line is in limbo with T-mobile due to digital SIM; 3 lines ported to T-mobile by TMB corporate store and already back to Sprint; 1 don't-care line still with original Sprint account to enjoy the last 2 months of the free hotspot.

Thanks. Were you unable to get a Tmobile account number with the digital sim or did you run into a different problem?

I had the exact same problem but others reported that if Tmobile didn't charge you a fee, the account number is 1+phone number. That worked for me the first tiime and I was going to try again. Just wanted to make sure Tmobile wasn't giving random account numbers over the phone.

So my friend was by yesterday with his old Boost Mobile Samsung J7 Perx phone that he wanted me to factory reset for his 7 yo daughter to use over Wi-Fi only.

Well anyways out of curiosity I tried the IMEI on the free checker site & it said it was eligible. I thought most prepaid and or Boost Mobile phones weren't eligible? If I were to call in would they actually activate this then on the 1yr free plan?

If this is truly the case maybe I'll see if I can pick up one locally for cheap? I suppose for the price tho there is probably still better options tho as this phone has kinda weak specs 2gb RAM, 16 GB Rom although it does have a 5.5 screen.
If it shows as eligible, it should be eligible, although some reps may still catch it.

If it was on Boost for a year that might be the reason.

Most people have had Boost phones rejected and that is the policy but maybe we are back in a lax period again for now. It seems to happen every now and then.

Porting works but i was told that you can't use GV on sprint and for me it's a major show stopper as i use GV for international call. Wonder if someone has figured out a work around that or was i misinformed?
People ported Google numbers just yesterday or the day before and do so all the time.

It is just the rep, but you can tell them it is bandwidth.com if you want, which sounds better.

It does not matter much what you say it is. The computer looks it up later. They did not even ask me which carrier it was with last time because they really know it does not matter too. They are just trying to pre-screen for potential problems.

Use Hangouts as it is more suitable. I use it fine. It is the same thing - same Google account.. You can set your caller id with it which is better than what GV makes you do..

Google Voice works fine too but it adds needless complexity just for making overseas calls and people usually set it up wrong.at first. If you really want, you can use it but you will have to port numbers around if you want to forward calls. Also you may lose VoLTE in that case..

Do not pay any attention to what reps say - they know nothing about anything except basic things..

Can boost mobile iPhone be used for existing 1-year free sprint BYOD plan? I already have a sprint byod plan until next year, and am trying to see if I can swap my current iPhone 6 with new boost mobile iPhone 6s plus.

as noted earlier...another BM SJ7P that u get may not be eligible.

depending on how close of a friend this is ...consider trying to activate this one that passes on the plan....and give to ur friend the one u find locally

Ok.

John has a paid off iphone 6 that is being used and jennifer has iphone x that she is still paying and is also being used by Jennifer. The phones are attached to the account that is owned and maintained by Jennifer.

That's two phones under Jennifers account, iphone 6 paid off, iphone x not paid.
John has a second phone,lg v20, also paid off, but has no sim card currently - i.e. not being used.

Scenario:John opens an account under his name, uses lg v20 and get's a phone nr from sprint, then he transfers his old nr from Jennifers account which is being used by the iphone 6. Possible ? Yes?
Great

Move on

John no longer has his old iphone 6 under Jennifer's account because he transfered the number and removed the iphone 6 from the account. Jennifer has only her iphone x under her account right now.

Can John add another line under his new account by using iphone 6(paid off), get a new number, then transfer Jennifers old number to the new account using iphone 6 ?

Later, swap iphone 6 with the iphone x under John's account ?

Result,
Both numbers are transfered from Jennifers account to John's account.

Jennifer keeps her account open and keeps paying the iphone x without any line attached to the account.
Anyone knows if this can be done ?

Can i transfer two phone numbers/devices from account A to new account B, and keep account A open to keep paying for a device that has monthly payments left.

no it cant.
remember u must port numbers, sprint will not assign the to u.

2nd as soon as u port out the number with the x, the full amount of x will be due

easiest:
port out ur # to Tm or h20 or ur choice of non sprint carrier.
port back to S with new account in your name.

do same for Jenn.

now u havent revealed what deal is on the x..is in a monthly recurring discount ? if yes, then i cant see any way to accomplish what u need.

if no, then just pay it off and be done

note , no need to get lg v20 involved.

read wiki cause there is lots of information there that u seemed to have missed (like when u say sprint will assign u a number...no they wont...each number has to ported in)

Thanks. 5/31.

I guess I should port it out and come back in on spouse's SSN. I hope there is still enough time to do this? OP says 4/4 to sign up for this. But can't find that date on Sprint site though. Can I re-use my current sim cards to bring the lines back in to Sprint?
