Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

If i buy an unlocked iPhone Xr from Apple then swap it out with my current phone on this plane will it lock it to sprint? Should I put in a Verizon SIM first to boot? Also if I trade in my current phone will it automatically disappear from my account?

Why would it lock? Why would a verizon sim prevent it from locking?

I am in the first year of BYOD, looking to quickly port out and port in with a relative's new account. I see some new gotcha's for t-mobile on wiki, can someone please advice what is the quickest way to port out in a short notice (which worked recently) and get all the details needed for porting back into sprint? Thanks!

My phone number has been ported over to T-Mobile yesterday already but when I call sprint today to transfer my phone number, it says it is already an active sprint number. How long do I have to wait to port it back in? Thanks!

Kind of in the same boat. Number cleared to T-Mobile but my phones IMEI, the phone that was on Sprint yesterday, is still coming up ineligible? I've done this once before and had zero issues! Any advice?

try to isolate the problem.
check a number u know is not on S (like a friends V, ATT or TM #) with ur phone imei

do the opposite

use this imei 089924634300459319 (from ebay seller that i know is clean) with your phone number

report back the results

again..u r just checking, not signing up for anything at this point

Ported over from red pocket yesterday. Had to chat with RP to get my account number since apparently it wasn't my phone number. Took about 8 hrs for the port to go through.

Ting Probably not, Check the wiki tho. Also for Sim card try best buy or Target, they sell the Boost Mobile SIM cards which is the same as Sprint. You can also reuse old SIM cards so maybe you have a friend with a old one?
Thanks for your reply. Can someone confirm whether the Boost SIM kit will contain SIM for iPhone XS and what is the part #? Thanks!.

does anyone have suggestions for an in-store cheap phone that I can activate on another carrier at a B&M location, and then port over to Sprint?
The phone doesn't need to move. Just the number. I'd normally direct people to search the thread Chairbash and read the very fine wiki Chairbash, but I'm feeling generous since these are the end times. The best deal I'm seeing right now is a Moto e5 play directly from Sprint for ~$100. It's $130 at Best Buy. You could probably order it while you're talking to telesales adding the new line. They'll be happy for the extra commission to boot. But it's not a great phone by any stretch of the imagination. The only other option would be to meet a seller locally off CL or Swappa. Obvs, check the ESN on the spot before forking over any cash.

ETA: I'm also seeing the LG Tribute Dynasty for $96 direct from Sprint. A savings of a whole $4 over the e5 Play!
