Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thanks.
If I got the port out / port in to Sprint on the first phone, can I just add the second phone online?
Not online, no.

In general people have called the number ending in 8777 to do that.

Chat MAY finally ALSO be able to do it but only one person has confirmed that. You can try it if you want to take a small risk because it is new.

Hi, I tried yesterday and ported my sprint free lines to TMobile successfully but when I called back to port over to Sprint again, I used my wife's SSN but failed the credit verification.... probably I misheard one of the security questions or their options... they said I can try again after 60 days... then I called the credit dept directly as suggested in the wiki... but the rep said she could not get the auth from her supervisor to run a second set of questions... what are my options now ? Can I use my own SSN again which was with sprint till yesterday ? Thanks for your help !!
I had the same issue. I can't understand half of the words the CSR said and failed the verification. You need to wait 60 days.

I ended up signing up online with my mom's ssn and got all 3 lines ported without spending too much effort. I don't need to worry about csr signing me up on wrong plan, adding insurance without my permission, writing down imei, iccid wrong and most importantly dealing with someone from overseas for hours.

Not always.
Many people have gotten around it as I posted. In fact I'll bet you he (his wife) can still get approved doing what Desi/ I suggested.

do you have a case number to tell the store people? or you can ask for a manager and tell them you just need a new sim for your phone. make sure they "don't touch your plan".
Not sure if they opened a case. When I was chatting with them the first time I was pushing them to open a case for me but the chat agent informed everything is logged in the chat and provided with a chat id. Then on the follow up calls I got some reference numbers.
Will those help?
Thanks for the warning I know Sprint store guys are famous for messing up the one year free plans and I am worried they may give me a lot of pain before this gets fixed.
One thing I want to be clear of so that the Sprint store guys don't make up some story to not do what is required.

The store may try two things 1) Update the account with my SIM card number which is inside the device - can they do that? this is the best and least painless option.

After all I only have one SIM which is what I gave them for ordering port-in
It is unbelievable to me how they came up with a different SIM card number and ported my phone number with that incorrect number.

2) Give me a new SIM card and then can give Sprint a call to swap SIMs ? Is that possible without touching the plan?

I just asked a Slick Deals editor to recheck the date with Sprint if possible.

We will see if he is able to get clarification........

You can check the number alone here:

https://www.sprint.com/en/my-spri...check.html

If it cannot be used, you can get a number for port on EBay to use instead for under $10.

It is best to check the correct sim in the chart linked to in the Wiki (the third post in this thread).
nice...added this link to wiki

Be sure to go to a Corporate-owned store only if at all possible. In general they will not wreck your plan.
