Have to give Sprint a rating of 10+ tonight. Geez the guy that set up the account said because it's so busy that he would call me back once the port went through and sure enough he did and phone wasn't working and he transferred me to someone that could activate it immediately and it was activated. Super easy.
Thanks again everyone!! This was a Motorola G6Play (Boost) so they are definitely still working like mentioned before)

Porting from Tracfone to Sprint

Account number - last 15 digits of Tracfone SIM
Pin - Logged in online, changed it to 5 digits under profile

Should work right?
Yes, had a family member who ported from tracfone (used a 4 digit PIN but probably doesn't matter). just make sure its a byod phone.

That's what the plan says in my opinion.
But see Wiki.

I tried to port my number in but sprint told me they could not offer me a free year they said they already gave it to me before. Did this happen to anyone?

Your SSN has to be completely off Sprint for 45 days.

When were you last on Sprint?

I cancel my sprint back in jan 2019. Does it automatically go completely off or do we need to request it?

Long time lurker, I was on the phone with a rep who knew a lot about the plan. He said that it is expiring tomorrow. I asked about whether I can still transfer lines to this free one year plan, even after the expiration. He said that I should be able to.

My transfer method was a variation on the wiki one, but it still worked:
1) Bought a eSIM off eBay
2) Bring your own device on T-Mobile webpage
3) Created a brand new number (instead of porting my sprint numbers in, just as a dummy/test)
4) Paid $3 for pay as you go
5) Got a webpage with my account # + PIN
6) Called the special one year free spring number
7) Gave all info over the phone and successful port over

I wanted a third number for my burner phone (for pokemon go) so it can have mobile data. I plan to transfer over my main sprint numbers over either today or when my original 1 year free plan expires at the end of the summer.
But wait, your step 6 and 7, did you already also have a Sprint SIM?

That should be enough time although you need to specify an exact date, not when you cancelled because cancel takes effect later. If you ported out all your numbers, the date would be the date the last number was ported out.

Just call the number ending in 8777 in the Wiki and tell then you qualify as a new customer because you have been off Sprint for x days where x is over 45.

They can look after the details of suspending the old account for you as needed.

So I just did the porting to tmobile pay as you go with my digital SIM. Lady over phone told me that my Tmobile account number will be my 1 added before my phone number. Is the correct, can someone verify?

Keep the Faith Brother!!
Shockingly after working with a t-mobile csr this evening, my google fi phone has finally ported to t-mobile, and the EMEI and phone number are now showing as acceptable for Sprint. That is the good news.

The not so good news - I don't have a Sprint sim card. According to wiki, I need to call and add this second phone to my current Sprint free plan, but how do I do that without a Sprint SIM? (Ordering a Sprint SIM now would not arrive until April 5.)

Do I need to try and get a SIM tomorrow (April 4) from a local Sprint store, and then call Sprint to add the second phone to my current plan April 4?

Or would it be worth calling Sprint now, asking to add my phone so it gets registered or something, and have them send me a Sprint SIM (even though SIM won't arrive until April 5)?

I can confirm my t-mobile account number is NOT my phone number. I also used digital sim, first trying via the web site, and after having issues, with a csr. But some other people are saying their account num is using the phone number, so ymmv.

Edit: by the way, do you already have a Sprint sim? If not, how are you going to signup with Sprint by the tomorrow deadline?

Bought my 10 yo daughter an iPhone 5S locally off the next doorsite/app for $55 & successfully activated it on the Sprint Free year plan only paying taxes & fee's. Took an hour on the phone with Sprint from start to finish but God gave me wisdom to get it done & allow everything to go smoothly!!

Credit check went pretty smooth & passed it with 5 lines of service being offered. The only delay was waiting for my T-MOBILE SCNA Free Data on Demand MI line to be released & ported over. T-MOBILE authorized the port pretty quickly but it took a while for it to be completed.

I'm actually now thinking of trying to sign my wife up for this plan to just to have more options down the road in case it does go away. There is still time folks so if your in a jam for a device check out Target/Walmart/Best Buy/Fry's/Microcenter as they sell some eligible devices. Or check your local sites like FB marketplace/groups, Craigslist, OfferUp, 5Miles, Let go, Nextdoor & Etc. Just be sure to check the devices on Sprint IMEI Checker & maybe even on www.swappa.com to be sure they are not reported as blacklisted/stolen or a balance owed.

Now I'll just message T-mobile & have them add another Free MI line for me or wait till they have another tablet or internet device promo to add new line. sometimes they even offer CB by using a Popular CB site. God's Blessings my friends!! Message/PM me if I can help anyone with signing up or even finding a device. some old boost Mobile devices have been reported to work & I even verified my buddy old boost Mobile Samsung Galaxy J7 Perx as being eligible for promo.
