Samsung S8 is one example that has those.

Moreover, you can get any S8 branded model (VZW, TMB, ATT, SPR) that is unlocked and when you change the sim they switch to a 100% native implementation with all features, right down to the startup logo etc..

The factory-unlocked models may not have all of these features, as you note.

There are some other manufacturer models as well.

For iPhone, you need iPhone 8 or higher to get VoLTE.

Also check HPUE support .
Thanks as always comintel... you've been invaluable to this thread...

thank you for the info. Facebook does not help too much.

In the end, I have to call Tmobile phone number to do porting through phone. Actually it works very well there even I used ESIM.

it takes 4 or 5 hours totally to get two lines done for another 1 year free. I probably could do more quickly if I have other Sprint SIM cards. At least saving $1,000. thank everyone for this great deal. Peace

Try using facebook chat on tmobile fb page. My sprint to tmobile porting issue was resolved after 48 hrs.

Prior to the solution, I called tmobile porting dept. 3 times and was told to wait 24 hours then 48 hours. Good Luck.

Hurray!! Signed up for the 2nd year today. All's well so far and the SIM card is on its way to me! The customer rep did confirm that today is indeed the last day (for this FREE 1 year BYOD plan) to sign up.

She said I need to activate it today (as today is the last day), but crap - none of the Sprint stores nearby have a SIM card for iPhone X. So, she got an exception approval from her supervisor to get it activated within a couple of business days from today. And, she went ahead and placed an order to have it delivered to me for $2.99 + tax + 2-day free shipping. This is great, and I truly appreciate her good presence of mind.

I'll be porting from Mint (a crappy service in northern Chicago!)...

I have some old H20 Sim cards here from the Verizon porting--several years ago. will those still work? and anyone know what the cost of plan would be to port there? says it can take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours but cheapest plan looks like $10---if I have to pay that up front.

Call the number ending in 8777 and I believe they MAY be able to set you up tonight or have suggestions. I think somebody said they did that for them - I am not positive though.

I do not believe it will be extended generally. But there will be special cases. For example, maybe they can sell you sim cards and set up the account on that basis. Ask. Or get a valid IMEI somewhere. In fact, maybe it is on your invoice or the seller can look it up! Ask the seller to lend you an IMEI if not.

Stuck in the same situation. My wife's number moved to T-mobile also had errors, but the correct (Porting) department was able to fix the error and moved to T-mobile. But my number is stuck. They say my number is moved to T-mobile, but I dont see any network on the phone.

Not sure if I should attempt to port the number back to sprint for the 2nd year free. The sprint rep who moved my wife's number for the 2nd year said today is the last day to even add numbers. I thought we could more lines and today was the last day to create an account.
I'm trying to move one last number to T-Mobile and am stuck in porting hell. I started 3 days ago by calling and have called a few times a day. I finally went in to the T-Mobile store and they said they put a ticket in but we still have to wait. I just did the Facebook chat and she got an error and put in another ticket. I guess I'll just give up on the last phone and wait for the next deal. Please update if your status changes.

First call was 1st line.
Second call was 2nd line.
Third call was 3rd line.
Fourth call was 4th and 5th lines.

The last 4-5 times I called, they hang out the phone on me. Then when I called back I asked for their ID before proceeding and they refused and again hung up the phone.

Possibly. Possibly not. Most GSM cards (including H2O) have expiration dates for activation. The date is printed in tiny tiny tiny font on the SIM itself. And H2O cards in particular have promos that expire. So while the SIM may be valid, you might still need to fund it. But you might not. They're giving a free month of service for port ins which sounds perfect for your use case. Except that people are reporting variable luck porting back into Sprint from H2O. Some have had it go smoothly. Hodaddy and myself had a b*tch of a time of it, if you'll pardon my French. I'd avoid H2O for POPI personally. Oh. ETA: H2O's porting dept is open only from 9am to 5pm EDT. So you couldn't use it today anyway.

Is the 4/4 deadline for purchasing the SIM cards, or for activating them? I intend to switch four lines from a T-Mobile family plan... I received the SIM cards on Monday but will not have access to the four phones until tomorrow.
