My BYOD 1 year plan is expired on 7/31/2019.

therefore I changed my plan to Unlimited kickstart $25 plan.

does anyone know if I add another Unlimited kickstart $25 plan line in my account now,

is this line eligible for $200 gift card in https://www.sprintpromotionshub.com?
A couple of us think so but only time will tell.

Who did you ask?

Account Services/Retentions at -- The given link is broken -- is in charge of Unlocks.

Also be sure NOT to call it a Boost G6 Play. Call it whatever it says it is on your account.

Several people have got them unlocked. That said, the whole thing is a loophole to begin with.
After the third tries, I got Sprint to sim unlock my boost G6 play.

thanks Comintel.

Hi comintel. So the $200 promo says invite only, but is that really the case? Can I just go through the registration process and have it approved? Can't really seem to find a definitive answer on this whether people actually received an invite or not who got approved or just applied and still got approved. Thanks.

I do not think that Invite stuff really means anything. I think they are just trying to sound exclusive.

It seems to check your number when you enter it.

It accepted my registration for an added line on the free plan. I think that means they have accepted it at least preliminarily. Of course it still could be rejected in certain circumstances.

It has to be in service for 60 days before you get final word. They do give you a tracking number.

Also if you are within 30 days of the start of the paid plan, you can try to use the 30 day satisfaction guarantee.

https://newsroom.sprint.com/sprin...n-ever.htm

Again this is a reason to get off as quickly as possible.

I do not know if it applies in this case but I would a least give it a try and possibly escalate if they deny it..

I totally spaced this and just realized my BYOD plan expires one week from today. What is the quickest and cheapest way for me to get on Kickstarter plans? I have 3 lines...

I know I'm an idiot...

If it's too late for Kickstarter does anyone know of other plans that are good deals, even prepaid? I don't need data too bad.

Oh, and if I do get one plan on Kickstarter, can I add the others later? My wife is the only one who really uses data. Thinking about getting her Kickstarter now, putting the other lines in cheap prepaid, but want to know if we'll have the option of porting the other lines to Kickstarter lines later, even if the enrollment period ends.

I really have sent hours reading this forum, sorry if I missed these answers already.

Since you are porting out at least 2 lines, why not port out all 3 and then port one back as a Kickstart line.

Or better, port out two, port back one to Kickstart, then port out the remaining non-Kickstart one.

You cannot switch to Kickstart in place without more elaborate maneuvers.

Once the enrollment period ends, you cannot add more Kickstart lines since eligibility goes line by line. It has not been possible to add more Kickstart lines at those times in the past during which Kickstart was not offered.

P.S. It is called Kickstart. "Kickstarter" is a fund-raising project.

Can someone remind me again where do I check when my free plan expires? I signed in on the app and even online, but just don't see a place. I think I saw it earlier, and now for the life of me can't figure it out.

Go here: https://www.sprint.com/en/my-spri...l#/summary
Scroll down, then expand "Plans & Equipment"
There should be an area that says:

Is there any way I can change my current lines to Kickstart plan? I see that the Kickstart plan requires new lines but I saw few comments that people were able to move to it from BYOD 1 year plan. Please advise..

So my byod free plan expired 07/31 but my billing cycle was 06/29-07/28. I spoke to one rep by phone and 3 in chat and I got different stories... Some said I needed to cancel my account by 07/28, one said by 7/31, and another explained I would still be covered by the free plan into the next billing cycle and I'd need to change my account by 08/28... It was explained that since the expiration of the plan was on 07/31 and that was after the start date of my next billing cycle the free plan would carry over. Some said they'd prorate and others say they never prorate. I want to forward the chat transcripts to sprints corporate office. Fascinating read... Anyway, I wound up porting out to Tings $20 a month for 20g plan on 07/30 so we shall see if the next bill will be prorated, the full amount of new service for 2 unlimited lines $100, or the amount I've been paying, $6.06 for 2 lines... Man I'm gonna miss that. I had great service with sprint and I so needed the savings it gave me this last year, so THANKS SPRINT... But seriously, work on training some of your reps... Getting so many variations of answers to the same question is mind numbing.

Anyway real quick a lil off topic, my roommate on sprint for ten years two lines, doesnt pay attention to her bills is paying just about $250 a month. There's the $75 for the first line and $55 second line, $15x2 for sprint complete and of course the leasing of her phones every month at about $25 each (once the lease was completed she had no clue it just rolled over to a monthly lease... Im like, you do not own the phones unless you bought them at the end of your contract... She couldn't believe it.) with that $ 7.99 spending charge and taxes, yah it comes in just under $250. She lost her mind when I got a year free when I signed up and even madder when she saw the $25 Kickstart plan. I told her she needed to dump sprint and just go to Ting... Showed her how simple it was for me. She's old school though and doesn't like change, but I want to help her save some money.

I called sprint on her behalf and tried the closing the account routine, retention offered very little. I wanted to find a way to get her on the Kickstart plan. The rep offered to add a line but couldn't convert a line.

That got me to thinking....she can't change her number due to the type of work she is in and the clientele she's built the last decade. Could I add that Kickstart line, then in a week or so port her old phone number to say Google voice or an actual provider then do call forwarding so the calls are sent to her new number, or she just uses the provider I move her to for a month or "45" days, then port her number back into Sprint on a new Kickstart plan then cancel the other Kickstart number. Oh, by the way, she only needs one number... I convinced her to oust the other line, the insurance, and we'd buy outright a new phone to start over with.

Some might say that's snaking the system, but I think sprints snaked her plenty and have no problems getting her a plan that they offer everyone but their own loyal customers....

Thoughts?
