Thanks. I wonder how that even helps them.
Purposely limit volume initially so as to not cannibalize the parent company, stress test/bug test/troubleshoot with small number of devices, test the various business models(referrals, 4 for $25 with total strangers ) etc.

I keep getting overcharged for my Kickstart bill. Are the people who signed up for the $25/line deal from a few months back still getting that price, or was it bumped to $35?
When I signed up in Sept. I was told I would get the $25 price. My first bill in Oct. charged me $35. I looked at Sprints website and it still said Kickstart was $25...so I chatted with an agent and he assured me my next bill would be correct. Just got my next bill and it's still $35, and now an agent is saying no one gets the $25 price anymore.

If you are missing the $10 monthly credit, I would complain about it as such. It has shown as $35 for a while but there should also be a separate but parallel $10 BYOD credit (unless you subscribed recently at which point the credit was dropped).

Or $40 less $5 autopay credit less $10 credit.

Did you check for a separate monthly $10 credit? I am sure you probably did check but I have to ask.

Noone gets it anymore unless they subscribed before the price increase as you did. (People who subscribed when it first started are still paying $15 a month).

So just tell the agent they need to check further.

If will be easy to escalate if need be (email [email protected]) but that should not even be necessary.

Try using Chat if you called. If you chatted, try calling.

But hopefully some people will post to confirm from personal experience.

Ultra is the owner of Mint and is ultra-respectable and reputable. They are everything Mint is and more with a higher class of customer service and support.
They are one of the, if not the most, favored TMobile mvno(s). TMobile gave them their pay as you go prepaid business to run.

Careful. I had this happen. I was promised it would be fixed. When that didn't happen after a few times, I asked to escalate it. Next thing I knew, I got the infamous letter saying "your account is being terminated and we'll call the police on you if you ask why." Many have had this happen.

So, try to get it fixed without letting them "escalate" it, or you might get booted by Sprint just because you pointed out their mistake.

does anyone know where on my online account I can see which month my free year plan ends? I spent a good amount of time trying to find it.

Porting out and back in is a nightmare now. T-Mobile SIMs are dead and all require $40 prepaid at the least. Went for a Ting one that was nearly impossible to find in retail stores and a H2O one that will likely be hell to wrangle the account number and PIN out of...

Tracfone was easy. SIMs available at Best Buy, Target, Dollar General, etc. Was able to activate online on $9.99 basic plan. Had to scroll down well below the $15.00 smart phone only plan. Possible to save more by selecting auto refill which is cancelled when you port out. Not sure if basic plan was only available because I used an old sim. Info needed to port out was in My TracFone.

Ported out to Ting and tried to port back in a 3rd line to an existing free Sprint account which had 2 free lines till March 2020. I was told that they are unable to add anymore free lines to the accounts as their 'code' had expired. Anyone had any luck recently adding a line to the free plan ? I was offered the kickstart plan for $35. Is that the only cheapest option with Sprint OR should I call back in and try my luck with another representative ?

By the way I assume it was Ting GSM side?

(You cannot port from Ting Sprint side - probably you know but I am just being sure).

Yes, it is from the Ting GSM side. The rep said that she tried to add the line to my existing account, but the 'code' they use had expired. My free plan is till 03/31/2020 which is 4 months away. She said that if there was more time left on the free plan, the 'code' would have worked.
