Picked up 2 of these at Walmart in the clearance section for $4.50 - zip code 33825. Most other stores in the area show $9.00.

Would be nice if it at least had gig ports. Could be used for: Wireless Access Point, Repeater/Range Extender, 4-port 10/100 switch, or just plug things in and watch the lights flash... the possibilities are limit(ed).

I upgraded the firmware on one to a fairly recent version of dd-wrt and it's been quietly just working for over a year now.
Previously had another setup (also with dd-wrt) as a wireless bridge and repeater for a Chromecast that wasn't getting a strong signal due to tv placement. Worked well in that situation too.

nice! didn't know ran ddwrt,. makes nice little guinea pig training system so don't bring down ac1600
