Hugely popular deal back again Oral-B electronic toothbrush for $30 after $10 off coupon (need clipping), can be clipped on details page.

Significantly cheaper than Walmart ($40), Target and Costco. Black and white both the colors are on coupon.

Worth upgrading to 3000 IMO (faster motor and better battery). The 5000+ series are a waste (same motor as 3000).
Consumer Reports rated #1 in cleaning effectiveness.
After trying to find deals on the heads and getting a ton of knockoffs (even though they were sold as official....), I just buy from Sams or Costco. Its not the best pricing, but at least you consistently get real heads.

they are exactly the same:

4) Battery Life – Oral-B Pro 1000 vs 2000
The Oral-B Pro 1000 and 2000 have a short 28 minute battery life. This is one of the downfalls of going for a cheap electric toothbrush. 28 minutes of brushing translates into a week of brushing two minutes twice a day. This is not terrible however it is noticeable when using the Oral-B Pro 1000 and 2000 on a daily basis.

The Oral-B Pro 2000 charges faster than the Oral-B Pro 1000. This is in part due to the higher voltage used in the UK which is 240 volts compared to 120 volts used in the United states. The Oral-B Pro 2000 takes 17 hours to charge from flat and the Oral-B Pro 1000 takes 22 hours. This is a fairly substantial amount of time as leaving it to charge overnight will not bring it to full charge.

So they are the same. Thanks

Also it appears charge time and battery life on a toothbrush is important to you. 2 paragraphs important. This is not a cheap electric toothbrush. It has the highest rated motor.

Don't really see how it is "noticeable" to people as 95% will be setting this back on the charger (which takes absolutely no space at all) every time they use it.

The 3000 is more than double the price at $64 right now. Really worth $34 more?

Stick with Oral B. I've got a few dental professionals in my family and they all swear by Oral B over Sonicare, with the caveat that the best is the one you will use (so if you like the feel of the Sonicare better, go for it!).

I have the same 1000 as the OP deal and its been great for the last year or so of use. Battery life seems to be fine and we only charge it once a week (chargers are in another room).
