Used to be good service when they were with T-Mobile, now it shows AT&T as the carrier which doesn't have nearly as good coverage like T-Mobile has in the 5G spectrum. Visible Mobile on Verizon for $18 a month is a far better deal than this.

Boost uses both T-Mobile and AT&T towers. Visible is great depending on the area. It's unusable in my area and I'm not even in a rural area.

They use T-Mobile and their own towers as the primary service. They'll use AT&T in areas that have poor T-Mobile coverage or areas known to have overcrowded T-Mobile towers. But I agree with Visible.

How long do you have to activate it under this deal? Could I hang on to it for a month or two before activation or does it need to be done immediately? I couldn't find info on their site about it since it appears to be an Amazon exclusive deal.

I've read it might be 60 days. I recently activated one 33 days after purchase.

As long as you got the time to create an account and get it activated and working. Last time I got it almost gave up and almost returned to Amazon hence high rate of returns LOL. Also, make sure to use a one time use CC since that's how they get u need to use a valid CC to activate it and if I hadn't they would've charged me for a 2nd month which they sent an email later saying it was a mistake?
