My two cents:

I bought these when Groupon had a sale a while back. In comparison to my Jaybirds that I use for workout and the Cowins that I recently purchased on sale and made Slickdeals frontpage, the Bohms are much better in sound quality than both. The noise cancellation was better than the Cowins. The Bohms have excellent build quality with real metal in the frame compared to the all plastic Cowins. That also makes them heavier and sometimes causes the seal around my ears to slip if I'm using them to mow the lawn. I've also flown with these which I think is where it shines. You aren't moving around as much. Now, the Bohms are nowhere as good as Bose noise cancellation. Don't expect that. You aren't paying that premium price. But they're decent enough to get me to fall asleep on the plane.

they are good I like them not as good as the on ear ones in my opinion if I tilted my head just right the noise cancelling did not work because of my mishaped head I had to turn my head while mowing

cheapest for over ear I have seen :Wink ! had on ear model ! got it for a trip and had to gift it to a friend cause he loved 'em more than I did ! NC wasn't as expected - but did okay Smilie didn't check NC on OP's ! but they sound good for the price ! Rock

I have a hard time with buds, even very small ones, they ache after a few
minutes, I had some bose about 10 years ago, and purchased cheap ones / mid level priced/ in college... I'm wondering, how heavy they are, as I prefer Cans over buds any day.

Honestly $60 is the right price for these. I own them however since replaced by the Sony 100ABN and hearing is believing. I wear glasses and these pinch after a while and the ANC has an airplane like sensation in that it does work however, you hear them...if that makes sense. The Sony simply melts away background noise while these seem to want to compensate for the noise. 60 bucks is a sweet deal though.

I have this and really love it. Noise cancellation is excellent. Sound quality is excellent as well. If I didn't have too many headphones and earbuds, I would buy again. Thanks OP for the post.
