Have physical copies of those games actually been less? Neither is a Nintendo Select, and both have had incredibly stingy pricing over the years. If they've been less than $20 for a physical copy, it's a really rare occurrence. It may not be slick by SD standards, but historically, those are good prices for those games.

Fire Emblem Echoes is SO worth $30. It's a fantastic FE game. Fire Emblem Fates Conquest and Birthright are also $30.

Not rare. Target had them at $15 many times. It got to a point that I was waiting for them to go below $15 when I was willing to pull the trigger.

I'm not going to argue, but a quick search doesn't show that many instances of $15 at Target. Most of them all seem to have showed up on Black Fridays across the last few years. Are you sure you didn't just see a bunch of the same Black Friday threads grouped together?

It doesn't seem to have happened at all in 2017. Last time MK7 shows $15 at Target is like BF 2015. $16 near Christmas of 2016. 3D Land seems to have a similar deal history, at least on SD.

Now that I think about it, they were sometimes buy 2 get 1 or buy 1 get 1 with cartwheel/sale price where they ended being $15 each.

MK7 used runs about $20 (or with cartridge only about $18), so it's pretty decent. It'd be nice for bargain hunters if Nintendo games didn't retain their value so stubbornly, but they do.

I believe I got MK7 and Super Mario 3D Land for $15 each at Target a couple of years ago (I want to say Spring 2015) when they had a 50% off sale on a handful of games, but I don't think they have been that cheap since. Super Mario 3D Land in particular has seldom been discounted to $20. Stingy sounds about right.
