I'm a frugal procrastinator, so when faced with paying to carry-on a bags with Spirit Airlines or buy this $39 bag from Walmart...I bought 2 of these bags. I love them! The quality is great for any price. The bags fit perfectly in the Spirit Airlines bag sizer. I know people tell you to cut pieces of the bag off to make it fit...DO NOT DESTROY YOUR NEW PIECE OF LUGGAGE...TURN THE BAG UPSIDE DOWN!! I'd also like to mention that this bag holds a lot of stuff. There are loads of videos on YouTube of people packing this bag but most are of summer trips with just swimsuits and shorts. I packed for a 5 day college visit trip to DC in the spring...I'm talking about scarves, tights, leggings, jeans, denim jacket, 2 dresses, tops, tanks for layering, bras, underwear, shoes and everything. Btw...I'm not a tiny woman, bigger than a size 8. It also works great for a weekend car trip and leaves a lot of space in the trunk for all the stuff you purchase while you're gone."

I bought jus last week. The size comes closer to 10 including wheels. I wouldn't risk it. So, going to return.

Check out boarding blue bags. They have custom dimensions for each airline including spirit
