Well, it looks like frys has finally caught on to ordering today for a deal tomorrow. Placed my order for this today with the expectation of picking it up tomorrow. Got email notification my order was ready and had to be picked up TODAY...bummer

Should I wait for 115sw or get this now? How much better is 115sw than 112sw? Is it worth the extra $100?

It's a whole world lot better. Owned dual 112sw and thought it was great then went dual 115sw and I can't go back. Even for my computer, I won't settle anything less then the 115sw.


On a side note, anyone feel audio deals been lacking lately?

Never had a 112sw but my 115sw is room shaking amazing in my basement with no walls. It got better with time so I guess there's a break-in period.

Anybody who can wait, should. The R-112 is a very good performing sub in the $200-300 price range- so it's a good deal at the $299 price- though you can sometimes get yourself a J-112 which is nearly identical cheaper.

The R-115 is a very good performing sub at $800. So the $399 sale price is a steal as you can't get anything as good or better for less than 2x the cost.

Me too, I'm waiting for the r-115 deal, but, If I can get this 112 sw be shipped I'll probably settle for this since the chance of getting the 115 shipped is getting slimmer.

I recently installed a Jamo 112 variant into my system and love it. I bought a pair of the Hersey III's from the last sale and the sub really helps fill out the sound spectrum. I've never heard the 15" so can't comment, but I will say that the 12" is not a small unit and the 15 is a fair bit larger still.

I would agree. Unfortunately, I have a specific spot for my sub and not enough room there for the 15.. Sad.

how about a 12" svs vs the r115?

and where do you find the r 115 deals I can't find any previous deals on here.

edit: found the slickdeals thread and man that is a good deal... have a jamo j112 which is this deals brother I would upgrade for a 15
