One bedroom of my hoouse under 10uT megnetic radiation, how can I do next?

One bedroom, there is electric meter outside the outer wall, as well as underground wires.

I used an EMF radiation detector, read 10 uT magnetic radiation, safe value should be 0.4ut (US standard)

10 ut read at my bed position is much more than the safe 0.4ut. How can I do next?

Home builder is Chesmar homes, how did they approve the un-healthy floor plan allowing electric

meter next to(outside) a bedroom?

Could I get building code info. and report to local city government? How the city code and

city inspection exists(works)? May be city didn't do their job (inspection) correctly, or corruption involved.

UPDATE:

radiation source: smart gas meter & smart electricity meter

A Faraday cage would be better -- that would still let in light.

Well, way back in the old days (whilst Al was still just a twinkle in her daddy's eye) they had these things called 'telephones'.

Several years ago, I purchased and completely renovated an early 1960s-era pay phone. Ya don't really see those much, any more. shake head

the best way to learn about pay phones is to see the documentary called "phone booth." it documents the destruction of the last phone booth in NYC.
