The only thing lacking in performance on this computer is it probably needs a SSD / m2 drive. But otherwise, this computer should meet anyone's gaming needs.

Concur that it is ugly, and also the case is difficult to manage (but has its moments). But the system runs well if you add an SSD / m2. I finally cracked mine open this weekend and added an SSD and was playing Battlegrounds in 4K this weekend. Game is not optimized but was doing 4K at Medium and hitting 60 FPS. System is pretty quiet, low power, and much smaller than the full tower desktop it replaced. The crashing that a lot of people experienced seemed to be related to bad video drivers. First thing I did when I got the system was update BIOS and Video Card drivers and it's been perfectly fine over about 8 hours of gaming.

Of course I wish it was 7700K, but for the price it's a good deal.

Pros:

-Price
-7700 and 1080
-Lighting options (if you're into that)
-Hard drive speed (easily fixed by adding an SSD or M2 drive)
-Quiet (though some people have complained that the fan gets loud I haven't noticed it playing Battlegrounds)

Cons:

-Single stick of memory
-7700, not 7700K
-Subjective ugly case
-Slow alienware software (but you don't need to access it much unless you want to update lighting or check for driver updates)
-430W power supply
