It's the same price as last years black friday Samsung EPP offer for the 55" UN55KU6300. The only difference between the KU6290 and the KU6300 is the KU6290 has a standard remote control, whereas the KU6300 has a smart remote; it's the same remote but with a tiny microphone in it so you can give voice commands. This is an excellent 4K tv for the price.

I got the same TV but for 400 at Walmart 3 months ago (and it was the KU6300 but the only difference is the remote from what I'm told) in what I think was a pricing error. I absolutely love the TV. Has great picture quality, decent app selection. The speakers are okay but I have a sound bar and knew they weren't great going in so that wasn't a deal breaker for me. It also doesn't have true HDR but something called HDR plus that kind of simulates it. I think it does a decent job at simulating it but if you're looking for true HDR, this TV doesn't have it (even though it says HDR plus on the box). All in all I was thrilled to snag this for 400 and would have been happy paying 500 for it as well. Watching 4k content on this thing is amazing and even 1080p stuff looks great.

First post! I have been in the searching Slickdeals fo a while. I found an Open Box-Excellent near me for $429.99. I know everyone is high on the TCL but this price might be too good to pass up. Should I get it?
