This is an excellent phone for the money, I bought it for $299 and for $214 this is a steal. If you are good with following instructions, head to XDA, unlock the bootloader get a custom rom, I am using AICP rom rooted with Magisk and you have a phone which can challenge even latest Galaxies and iPhones in almost every aspect. BTW, their customer service is out of this world, I dropped my phone and cracked the camera lens, I called them, they replace the phone with new phone for free. I had to pay for shipping both way. Apple and Samsung owners will have to pay more than price of this phone for getting anything fixed.

Only people complaining about this phone are the one who never had this phone.

I had planned to run a custom ROM but in the mean time I loaded Google Now Launcher:

2 months later, I have am happy and have not bothered with a custom ROM. The GN launcher cleaned up much of the custom Leeco nonsense.

Company has mostly retreated to China and left the US. But now they are being sued by vizio for a failed buyout and the owner had his assets seized. According to most a company has taken control and hired new management, but it seems little too late. Company will probably be done soon. Meaning no official updates.

I have owned this phone and it is not horrible. Camera was the worst thing on phone.
Good deal on an awesome phone. I've been using mine from the best buy deal at $250. Unlocked the bootloader and rooted, running Resurrection Remix from day one. Had a few minor issues, but wasn't too hard to do. Definitely blows my aging Nexus 6 away in performance and battery life. I do miss the screen size and better speakers though. All in, it's a great phone at this price.
My last 3 phones...

Nexus 6 = 184grams
Lg V10 = 192 grams
Le Pro 3 = 175 grams

Current Device Lg V20 = 174 grams

I'm not outright saying "do not buy anything from this company", but I would implore you to read this [engadget.com] before you decide to pull the trigger on anything from them.

Thanks OP, was going to post this. Great phone for the money. I'm using the stock ROM with the latest update that addressed many complaints. Nova launcher helps smooth out the experience. You have to do a little tweaking- kill the bloatware, remap the hard buttons, replace some of the default apps- but it's simple and you end up with a great phone for just over 200 bucks. Battery life is amazing. One or two quirks remain but nothing major. Highly recommended.

Am I missing something because specs wise this phone is insane at this price, but this doesn't seem to be getting any attention. Snapdragon 821, 4GB Ram, and 4070mAh. Like this is a new phone, the best competition I saw was the used LG v20 at $280.

They left the US market so that's why prices are so low. I would have definitely pulled the trigger here if I hadn't just moved over to Sprint on the free year promotion.

Awesome phone with great battery life. If you know how to root and flash, you're good to go. Camera isn't great, but battery life is amazing

Great hardware for the price, but there might not be a future in terms of support and warranty. I brought 2 for work, and already own 1.

I just got the S3 and put lineageOS on it.
Wondering if I should shell out the extra $70 for the pro3.
Anyone have an opinion on S3 for $140 vs Pro3 for $214?

Spec wise, phone is "spec"tacular for the price. Company is screwed so expect no updates. If you are into custom Rom flashing there are plenty of amazing options including lineage. I have had this phone since launch. I put Google launcher on it and it had been amazing, couldn't be happier for the price.

Definitely pro 3....it is the cheapest phone with the 821 processor and 4070 battery...if you look for performance and long battery life and less cost....this is the phone to buy, install Omni rom on it and your battery will last even longer than stock
