Well, I think this will be the last of the mild weather. I would of have liked to get more stuff done outside. But, darn rain! Oh well, maybe we'll get one more reprieve before the cold sets in for good.

Will go outside to watch! Even though we are across the state it still is spectacular!!

Geesh, there were days that Shuttle launches would get in the news. Heck, I haven't even heard one word, in the news, about the fires.

Enjoy, that is something I would like to see in person. But, I fear I will never get to see it since the shuttle program will be scrapped soon.

I did get to see the Shuttle and Space Station in a fly by. Sure, it's just specs of light. But, still, it was cool.

I enjoy going out to see the ISS, Hubble, Shuttle etc when observable! I use a site called www.heavens-above.com ... you put in your location and it will give you the info for the next 10 days when and where in the sky you can watch passings!!

Sweet. I do have a program from school, Starry night that updates with events. It's rather cool. I haven't used it in a while.

But, yes, I did find the Live Shuttle Feeds. [nasa.gov]

Lindy, by chance have you heard anything about the sunspots lately? I haven't checked into it lately. But, during the summer. There was something like 120 days w/o a sunspot which is a fairly long time. Considering, activity slowed down a couple of years ago. I guess it goes in cycles. It can play a roll in the weather. Because, for some reason there sun can cool down when there are no sun spots.
