Any good IWG out there? It's been a week or two since I've updated my favorites. I just have been going by my folders of sweeps and IWG's to enter. I did make sure to get in on the Kraft, Pep Farm, Sears, and Meijer for xmas

Not having a car can be a good thing.
No gas, no insurance, no parking fees, no worrying about damage to car, no tires, no oil changes.

People save lots of money by dumping their cars.

Yes, you do have to get bus passes or a bike. But, still cuts down on costs.

You have to look at the whole picture with a car. Just like a home. You pay rent or you pay your monthly mortgage bill. But, with homes, there's maintainable, insurance, taxes.....



OK, must go to sleep. I have one or two more door walls to plastic up. I have to debate if I want to grill this winter or not. Lots of cold air coming in. So, I think it's better to insulate as much as possible and save grilling for when it's warmer.

Don't feel bad. Now wheels here either. It's just the increase in what I have to pay at the grocery store that is gettin' to ME.

At some point grocery stuff will adjust for the fuel prices. :hopefully:

Right now, you have to remember the stuff we have now was supplied/grown on high fuel prices.

Now, I really am going to sleep. 1 freaken AM again. Tomorrow. I must get to bed early. Must prep for BF.

Good Morning! ~ Wave

I was up early and took Mom back to the surgeon this morning. Things going good so far. Another appointment in 4 weeks. Frown I'm moving her follow-up care to another affiliated center to avoid the traffic downtown, parking fees, and being late to work/back to work caused by going there. The care at this point is follow-up on the physical therapy and determining when she can return to work (off the rest of this year at least at this point).

We also made an appointment to take her to the neurologist next month. I had to schedule the day off as a vacation day to take her to it.

Cold here - snow/snow mixed with rain = heavy snow/rain mixing back and forth through Wednesday expected starting this afternoon.


Card Exchange People - I have the file ready with everyone on it and will send it out today to you all. Of the people that responded, we all seem to celebrate Christmas as opposed to Holidays or anotheurlhasbeenblocked.

I've left another voicemail message for Janet. I'll let people know when I contact her.

Good morning everyone. It is a very short week at work for me. I go in at about 11:15am for my next phase in gastro testing. Today I am having a gastro reflux study. Please Pray for my nerves and the doctors who will do the test. Then I only have to work until Wednesday and I have the rest of the week off due to the holiday.

We had a great birthday weekend for my husband. Friday we went to Arabian Nights ($10 each with my healthcare workers discount... that's what I call a SD!) Saturday we went to Univeral Studios/Islands of Adventure and then to Kobe for dinner. Yesterday we did a tiny bit of shopping and then to a friends house for birthday dessert (ice cream cake!). So my wonderful husband is 22 now Big Grin
In other news he may have to go to California for about 5 days for a training course. Please Pray for that too as I have not been a single day without him since we got married and not many days before that either. I don't do well being alone. I understand if he has to go but please just keep me in your prayers with my nerves.
One more thing! We go to see three houses this week!!!!! We hope to have a place by the new year! It is very exciting and a bit stressful.
